The Republican party seems to be coalescing around a policy of "Negroes Vaccinated Last".
I could start a thread with a positive spin about DeSantis and the way the vaccines are being distributed into a whole lot of arms in Florida. There are a lot of those stories out there, too.
I give DeSantis credit for giving the vaccines to black churches as well as high-traffic pharmacies with instructions to give them to as many eligible people as possible. DeSantis is correct when he points out government does stuff like this very inefficiently.
Last week, LAST WEEK, Blue State Nevada announced it's $6 million plan for government vaccine distribution.

Florida did Covid right. They minimized lockdowns, avoided the economic carnage and death toll of populous states like CA, NY, and NJ, and they’ve been open for more than six months. Most of the rest of the states are envious.

Fair enough. A full stadium would have been preferable to 25K, but I can’t think of any other state that allowed that many fans into a stadium over the past year, can you?

At home on TV? Who the fuck cares? Are lockdowns how you measure success? The question is how many states have had businesses, schools, churches, and sporting events open to the extent Florida has?

Ah dunno, Fred. Who are the politicians you like and who you don't like? You should start from there since that's what you'll be focusing on. But since you don't feel the need to praise who makes you happy by making threads to them, why bother complaining as if there's a problem?
I give praise where it's due. You not being around to see that is not my problem.

I do know. Here are just a few states that have not been open to the extent FL has: NJ, NY, MA, CT, PA, MI, IL, OH, WI, CA, OR, WA...
