It's been 3 weeks since what we may refer to as Teh Disaster. What the motherfuck are they doing about it? Looks like a lot of denial, hysteria and hand-wringing from over here.

Doubt it will come down to a legal question. The pressure from within Biden’s party is building. Today’s news was a gut punch. It’s not going to let up. Kamala Harris is now the odds on favorite to be delivering her acceptance speech in Chicago.

The Dems who see Biden losing, and who want to replace him, aren't going to take an illegal nomination via a zoom call lying down. They'll challenge the nomination because they don't have a choice.

The R's in states where Joe won't be on the ballot because the D's didn't schedule their convention early enough WILL challenge it.

I also think Kamala will be the Dem nominee. And she'll lose worse than Joe is going to lose. Even if she picks Newsom as her VP, she's still going to lose just based on her record of incompetence. If she 25th's Joe before the convention that's going to have horrible optics - she ousted her boss just so she could take his place.

The real panic is from downballot races. D's are pissing their pants that the R's are going to sweep everything. It's doubtful because the R's still have shitty candidate problems but there are still viable pathways and miracles are known to happen. Last Saturday being an example of that.
