The Democratic voices calling for Dementia Joe to pull out are growing. Now there’s a movement to delay the virtual nomination that’s been planned for August 7th. CNN reports on the latest rupture within the party.

Growing faction of Democrats revolt against Biden’s upcoming virtual nomination

WashingtonCNN —
A growing faction of House Democrats, convinced that President Joe Biden is too politically damaged to defeat Donald Trump in November, is calling on the Democratic National Committee to ditch plans to virtually nominate Biden in the coming weeks – setting up an extraordinary intraparty clash against Biden allies who are staging a quiet pressure campaign to accelerate the president’s formal nomination.

There are a lot of people wanting Biden to step down that I know. All of them will vote for him if he doesn't.

The division doesn't really impact the final tally on the left The double haters are the ones who will decide this election. And I think if they show up, they will vote for the Democratic candidate.

Apathy will decide this election. :)

Good thing Biden is polling well in Florida and N.C. ;)

Of course, you probably think that these "Democrat voices" are going to be so distraught that they won't vote for President Biden.

^^^^
Someone needs to explain this to Deplorables with puppets until they get it. 🙂

Every thread BabyBoobs starts just reeeeeeeks of desperation to sow division in the coalition of voters that took down Trump in 2020, turned the “red wave into the pink ripple in 2022, helped win special elections in 2023, secured protections for women’s health in state constitutions (and got them on the ballot in many others), and who are coalescing again for the 2024 election.

Poor BabyBoobs.

I like the polling numbers for FL and NC too. Here are the latest RCP averages:

Trump +7.8 in Florida
Trump +5.4 in NC

The group pushing to delay the nomination is real. And there are roughly 20 Democrats in the House and 2 Democrats in the Senate who have publicly expressed their view that the party will lose with Biden as the candidate. More are expected to join the list of Biden defectors in the days ahead. They will vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is, but growing numbers have lost faith in Dementia Joe.

You really can't read for nothing and you're not bright enough to be clever.

Has a group of Democrats come together and paid for national ads that tell people to vote for the opposition?

Just so we're clear:

Democrats are questioning if there is a better option than Biden because they want the best option to beat Trump, but it doesn't matter who because they will all vote for whoever it is.

Republicans are literally trying to assassinate their candidate.

Which one is divided?

Ross Perot is turning in his grave. :)

RCP simply averages out a bunch of poll results, with no weighting for sample size, the pollster's track record, or anything else in particular (and the site itself leans conservative, too). Those numbers don't really mean anything.

The media will never have any trouble whatsoever finding Democrats who think the sky is falling. The truth is, the Democratic base is perfectly fine with Biden as our nominee.

You’re the one who brought up the polling. Biden is trailing in all the recent polls in both states. If you don’t like RCP, Nate Silver has Trump +8 in FL and +5.3 in FL.

Even Adam Schiff joined the chorus.

Did Biden's running mate call him, "Hitler", and say anyone voting for Biden is an idiot?
Not that I’m aware of. Many in your party are hoping she replaces Dementia Joe at the top of the ticket. I hope he can hang on. The next couple weeks will be fascinating.

At least the Republicans are united around their lying incompetent traitorous felonious incontinent bullying sex offender.

Vote now for tax rises for working people, for next year you might be a billionaire!
