But then, if you are lucky, someone comes along and helps you heal.

Typically because it is easier to try and fix others than to look to our own issues. Our issues have pain associated, the issues of others are a diversion without the pain and when we help we can feel all good about ourselves and such.

Healing is so painful and so cleansing at the same time.

Rarely in our lives are we granted the priviledge of a friendship such as the one Irish and I share. A friendship that has no bounds, one that includes love and so much more. He has taught me to be friends with a male and so much more.

On the days when life tries my patience I can come back to a place where there is peace, people who try to understand a complex woman who is struggling with issues and trying to grow and become whole.
