David and Wendy were schoolmates back in the days before email. David was painfully shy. One day he wrote Wendy a letter confessing his love. she never responded. He went away to school. She married and moved away.

Twenty years later, the post office apologetically forwards the undelivered envelope to Wendy`s address. Her Mom still lives there. she can`t resist opening the letter, and is overcome with the passion David displays. She finds herself sexually exited in a way she has not felt in years.

David is now the bachelor pastor at her church...

Hmmm.... I never would have thought of the mother angle. I would have had Wendy herself finally get the letter, twenty years later.

And as it happens, she's just had a huge fight with her husband. And she gets to thinking what might have been.....

I have to agree with Carnevil9 wendy getting the letter would be better but if i may add my own thought what if wendy is recently divorced or is a widow. She could find David they could go out and get to know each other and fall in love.

I thought Wendy getting the letter was sort of obvious- the Mom getting hot for David would add an interesting age inappropriate/ role inappropriate twist, NOT the usual romance.
