Defining Love

DLL- I must confess, I took the liberty of copying your poem and re-posting it to the WFMS thread (giving full credit to you, of course). It meant THAT much to me.

Don't care for baseball that much, to be honest, although I can appreciate the skill of smacking a 100mph fastball.

~Dream~ - I am happy for you... sometimes the pieces can remain elusive

If everyone that 'played' on Lit defined 'love', we wouldn't need this thread.

*thinking of all the trouble I'd be in if my playmates thought I loved them*

I hear you friend......perhaps we should put disclaimers in our profiles???????

I am a collection of characteristics
Both physical and mental
That makes me completely unique
No one else anywhere
Is exactly like me
And I realize that not everyone
Who crosses my path
Will be interested
In what I have to offer

But my strength comes
From the belief
That Someone
Somewhere

Can and Will
Appreciate me
For what I am

  DLL

** Stands Up and Applauds* THAT was AWESOME DLL:heart:

I hope you also find strength in yourself. You have gifts that are unique - and we're grateful you share your gift for imagery with us here. :rose:

Today the mind turns toward longevity in relationships. What is it that allows some relationships to endure - often through tremendous adversity - while others crumble and dissipate?

Now I know some will say "you have to work at it" and, to some extent, I'm sure that's true. But I would contend that plenty of couples work at their relationships to the best of their abilities and still do not last. Others might be prone to say, "you just have to keep loving each other" and that's true also. But I don't think either of these answers tells us much.

What do you think the secrets are that have let some couples' relationships last over many decades when others barely make it a few years?

Like what? I might play but I won't love you? Or don't take me too seriously? Or don't fall for me? Or only fun playing offered? Or??? oh the options are countless...hey guys it's a porn site! it's supposed to be fun.
