what would you consider a personal prejudice?
I am specifically asking in response to an 'incident' at work.

When a person forms an opinion or bias that is either not based on direct interaction or is influenced by a generalized opinion, there is a chance that it can be labeled as personal prejudice.

there are a number of free online assessment tools that are designed to help you identify personal prejudices that may not be obvious. We do see them here.. for better or worse. I've read that Litsters without profiles are just spamming, pretty women on dating sites are likely to be prostitutes, and (if you're on the GB) liberals are loud and stupid. That last one has also been said about republicans and democrats.. so at least they evenly distribute the prejudice...

Since you've indicated that your question relates to something at work, you might consider asking your HR rep what the company considers a personal prejudice and go from there.
