Define Love

"I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame of that heats our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other."

I'm just wanting to know different peoples opinions on what they think love is.

This came to mind instantly... lol

"Love is a many splendored thing,
Love lifts us up where we belong,
All you need is Love"

Moulin Rouge ~ Elephant Love Medley

Seriously though, love is many many different things. Defined only by ones own heart.

Waking up in each others arm, eye watering fuck breath peeling the paint off of the walls and giving that good morning kiss with a smile on your face.

Knowing yourself
accepted
and reflected
in a warm duck ;)

It is soft and quiet...it is steady and unconditional. It is caring enough for someone else that you realize that you want to be the best you that you can be so they will be able to have the best of you. It is knowing that if you fail they will still be there. It is hurting when they hurt but being strong enough so that they can lean when they need to.
It is knowing that they may hurt you by mistake sometimes, but not in a million years would they hurt you on purpose. It is knowing that there is no such thing as distance. That two hearts can be together every moment even when your bodies can not. It is trust and honesty and commitment. It is rare and precious and never to be taken for granted. It has moments of screaming passion it has quiet moments of comfortable silence.

It is something amazing and wonderful and when you know it truely it does not make you scared, it is like seeing a light. It is not being rescued or saved...it is seeing that you have someone who will be your friend when you are tired from the battle who will always support your decisions. Love is something I have been blessed to find in both friends and an amazing man.

Love is deriving joy by another's happiness. It is the warm feeling you get when you see that certain someone laugh or smile. It is a mutual respect and a tolerance that exceeds all others.

I'd love to be able to help you but i feel that true love cannot be defined, rather it can only be felt

I am not sure, but if it is that calm feeling of knowing he is part of your life, that tingle in your tummy when he looks at you or takes a certain tone, if it is that comfort in knowing and planning for Togetherness, then , I may have some idea.

I am just not certain though. :)

Agony of Love

The silhouette of her soft ass
The smell of anticipation
The paddle nourishes my hand
The pain awakens sensation

Leather strikes yielding flesh
No hiding nor evasion
Her pain is pure pleasure
Her pleasure affliction

Her triumph to receive
Mine to bestow
She revels the agony
Blow after blow

I pour my love like water
Over the scarlet mounds
She spews her love like lava
Crying begging coming sounds

love is being silly, and her still wanting to be with you... well at least that is how it usually is for me

Nice poem.

Dillinger - nice quote. I've lliked everything I've ever read by EKR.

Love is a bewildering, wonderful, painful and multi-faceted thing. It is different at various times and in different relationships.

Unconditional love is the highest of quality and the most cherished but perhaps the most difficult to give.

Love defies definition yet yields to many descriptions.

Love can make you feel so damn good and make you hurt so damn bad.

Love twinkles in the eyes.

Love is when he'd rather have Her than the Remote.;)

Love is when you get off the phone with her, and you immediately start counting the minutes before the next one.

Love is feeling her pain even if she's not there.

Love is being enthralled by all the noises and cute things she does.
