Why would you change the taste of wild sheep? Dall sheep are quite tasty. Perhaps the best big game meat you can harvest in Alaska.

So is a whitetail. My money is on the deer. They may be close on speed but the sheep isn't gonna jump like the deer. Unless it's a sheer.

Nothing runs like a Deere. Whitetails don't range up this far. They'll never make it in sheep country.

There are no wild sheep here.
There are deer. If I cross breed them then I will have meat and some wool to send to our resident knitter to knit me a testicle cozy.
