deep sadness

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Take care of yourself. I lost a baby early in pregnancy once myself. I remember how difficult that time was. You are correct, she is now an angel and I'm sure she watches over you with great love.

The fetus was conceived 3 weeks ago, how did you know it was a girl? How do you know for sure you were pregnant and not just late? Why did you have to go to the hospital? It isn't like you have to get a DNC for that early of a miscarriage.

~sniff sniff~ I smell a line of bullshit.

and no, i'm not a troll. I'm a guttless regular.

You're also a moron. And you apparently know jack shit about miscarrying.

I miscarried at what the doctors calculated as between 2 and 4 weeks of pregnancy. I pissed on a stick the day I missed my period and it was positive. I started bleeding heavily on the day before I was supposed to go to the doctor for confirmation.

I went to the emergency room. I was pregnant and I was bleeding and if it meant saving my baby I was going.

While there, they do routine urine and blood pregnancy tests. Both came out positive. They also give a physical exam.

By the amount of hormones in my blood, they guessed me at about two weeks, but as the count was steadily decreasing they could not be sure and the baby could have been concieved up to four weeks before.

They also did an RH factor test to see if that was the reason for the miscarriage.(They also wanted me to save any tissue that passed after I went home to test for a cause of miscarriage but I couldn't bring myself to pick up pieces of my dead child.)

Why the fuck WOULDNT she go to the hospital? Why would she not try to save her kid? Are you stupid?

And they do D&C's no matter how early your pregnancy is if you need one. If you need one and you do not recieve one, you can give yourself a nasty infection.

As the doctors told me, sometimes nature takes care of itself and you don't need a D&C, sometimes it needs a little help.

I've had one. It's not pleasant.

Get a little bit more informed next time you want to make a fucking comment, loser.

By the way, I named the baby I miscarried, and I gave HER a female name.

Yes it is. I've lost two.

One was when I was still in high school and there were complications at 5 1/2 months. It was a boy.

The miscarriage was in October 2000 - so... it was a bit ago.

Trolling is bad enough.

Disrespecting an innocent child, even one that never had a chance to live is not only cowardly, immature and heartless, it is disgusting.

Not to mention the fact gathering a troll should do if they plan on trolling someone instead of making up medical information to back up their ignorant posts.

Touchy subject.

Jade,

I am so sorry...I share your pain and sadness, I have been there.

Jade,
My heart feels for your loss.

After my daughter was gone, and after I had gone through the initial mourning phase, I found it very, very helpful to be around as many bapies as I could. (I worked in a daycare-volunteering in the church daycare could be helpful.) I still had all the loving feeling for my child, but no place to let them be except bottled up. Loving those babies in my care helped my heart more than I could ever say. Being able to whisper in their ears that they are loved more than they or their mothers could even know helped me to get it out. I believe that we really don't know the volume of our love for someone until that person is gone from us and we are left to sort out our thoughts and our dreams and realities.

Now, for Gutless-poster.
All babies are technically female until the sex chemicals begin to alter things. I can't remember what developmental date that change begins to occur, but the penis and balls are an alteration to the female anatomy. (Apparently Gutless never took any anatomy class. The books are in the library though. )

I have noted that Gutless hasn't bothered to post again in under that title--the problem with being "Unregistered" is that you can't edit your stupidity, once you realize it. (I was correcting the spelling of "Guttless"--couldn't stand not to.)

Jade

I'm sorry for your loss, especially in light of your struggles over the last few weeks.

Well, I have been here for several minutes reading all of these responses to my thread.

I can't believe it.
I'm in a lot of physical (and otherwise) pain right now and so I don't have to return to work until tommorow.

I have to go face life again tommorow.

That's a big deal to me. This is the only thing I truly wanted to "succeed" at in life persay and yet possibly the only thing I took for granted. And yet I failed. I'm strongly contemplating getting my tubes tied.

I wanted to thank every person that responded on this thread... even the one that didn't want to put there name behind it. B/c perhaps now more people can have awareness of what women go through due to ignorance alone... how their pain can become magnified by thoughtless criticism due to lack of knowledge and education.

For his/her information though... the pregnancy HAD been confirmed and I was far enough along to where the heart was beating. (It should have been the size of a poppy seed... but filled with enough love from me to fill the inside of a volcano I can promise you.)

As for the girl thing, it was just a feeling.
My first pregnancy I just knew it was a boy.

Also, over time, I've predicted other women's babies. I have had an 85% success rate so far... I felt it was a girl.
You can laugh all you want, call it maternal instinct even.

We have decided to plant an oak tree in the middle of a heavily wooded area in Virginia named for Noel.

I know that life has to go on... I know it does... it's just that it's all so painful and so fruitless.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has posted on this thread and for all of the sympathy.

Thanks so Oliver and Angel and anyone else who came to my defense and to DCL for believing in Angels.

Luv

~Jade~

Spirits in the Woods

I let my Shadow
Follow where I go
And when the Fall comes
Follow me to the Spring

I lay down in the Summer shadow
and listen to the Chimes
and Sing

Plant me in a forest Glade
Where the Breeze calls Noel
Where I am as a Crown upon your Dreams

And I whisper your name Aloud:cool:

Jade, dear, check your email. And I'm on MSN right now if you would like to talk.
