Out of curiosity, how do you ladies determine when its time to stop using protection with your partner? I'm not saying go off birth control completely, but just to stop using condoms.

I was in a relationship recently where we didn't talk about it, it was just one night right before I was about to reach for the nightstand she pulled me inside. From that point on we were sans latex. I was fairly comfortable with the decision, but we never discussed it. I was just curious as to what the mental process is for most of you out there.

Cheers.

I never use them. There might be a few little blobs running around right now.

What kind of horse do you ride?

So I was in this situation a few days ago. And I refused to fuck without a condom. She acted offended. I got pissed off and told her basically "no glove no love". We ended up having sex. But it left me wondering the same thing. It felt like she determined that the choice to be protected or not was up to her.

NFW - it is up to the blood test.

Wrap the banana. Always.

When I dated my husband I kinda just felt like we were gonna be together a while so I felt ok about it It just happened like that. I don't think we discussed it either. When we do play with others though condoms are always used.

We had been together for a few months, so there was a certain level of trust there but I don't think we were at a "this is going to last a while" stage. At least I wasn't.

And I am single again, so obviously it didn't end in wedding bells. Good times while it lasted though.

Never used a condom for gay sex- never not used a condom for hetero sex. I just... I love kids. I fucking love kids. But I have never fucked a bitch who was not crazy. And my idea of fatherhood isn't paying money every month to some bitch I hate and having little to no contact with my kids.

Condoms can be re-used up to five times with proper cleanings.

I think they are all crazy. What is up with that? Definitely do not put a bun in the oven without having something in writing first.

Seriously? I put the condoms on thick knife handles but if there is a better way to use the dishwasher I'd like to know.

Popeil promises 10 re-usages, provided you use his graphite lube.

Awesome. 10? Wow.

But I read that condoms shouldn't be used a dozen times and 10 is VERY CLOSE to a dozen. However, if the company makes the claim then they must have the research backing it.

Graphite lube would make everything "down there" really messy I would think. Graphite gets into every skin pore. However, I have been looking for a better lubricant so it's worth trying.

The condom industry would prefer single use, however, they are the ones making the big bucks.

One you go black.......

Sometimes I'm too lazy to re-use them. I just toss the condom in the car's glove compartment or toss it on the bedside nightstand. Whatever.

But most of the time I re-fold it and put it back in the wrapper. Later I run it through the dishwasher. A couple of times I hand-washed them because of not planning ahead (i.e. getting "lucky" out of nowhere).

You are kinda a neat freak, eh?

What's wrong with just flinging them under the bed?

I never use less than a half dozen at a time, so it's environmentally responsible of me to collect them in the morning, and put them in the dishwasher. Not everyone can afford a pallet of Trojans from Costco.

The most condoms I have every purchased at one times was two-dozen. That batch lasted me almost two years. I estimate I fucked at least 215 times in that two year stretch - using a condom every time except when I was really drunk - so my re-use was probably four times per condom. However, now that I think about it I lost some, gave a couple to my cousin Arsim, and used two or three to make balloons so I'm guessing it was probably more like 5 or 6 per condom!

I know that is not great but it is still pro-green environmentally.

7 weeks after my last period.

If you can't be a LEED certified fucker, you might as well be a priest in these times.

It's the only responsible way.

Thor, you're cracking me up tonight!

I've never in my life reused a condom.
