I'm sorry, CB, that there are so many ignorant assholes. I went and got chicken last night at an Arab-run establishment that is usually packed on a Saturday...but last night it was less than half full. No one wants to "support Arabs". I can't believe how totally bigoted, moronic...I don't even have the words for these people who can't tell the difference between a terrorist and an American citizen...much less, in your case, a terrorist and an Indian-American! It makes me ashamed of my country. I thought Americans were better than that.

I can't stop wondering about two girls who joined our school in 8th grade, that was in 1979. I remember them both so well, one was from Iran, the other from Iraq. At the time, we were held captive in Iran, they both were terrified living in the US let alone in Stillwater Oklahoma.

I remember how hard they tried to fit in, we all just accepted both of them, it didn't matter to us where they came from, now they were like us, Americans.

Today, after 22 years, I am thinking about them both again. I hope they still feel wanted and welcome in the country we share.

They both became citizens and I can remember how proud they both were to be American.

Please remember CB, race does not make citizenship, nor do ingorant fools who choose to attack you because of the color of your skin make them all Americans.
