The cook at school makes turtle pretzels every year for the staff. Large rod pretzels dipped in caramel, drizzled in milk and dark chocolate and then rolled in chopped pecans. Yum.

Me and the kidlings have plans to start making sweets tomorrow. Sugar cookies, chocolate caramel pretzels, snowballs, soft gingerbread with whipped cream, gooey butter cookies, peanut butter cookies w/kisses, jam thumbprint cookies, and I don't remember what else.
The kids asked if I would make chocolate cream pie and I said do we really need it. They may talk me into it, or pistachio cake.

Oh we're making red velvet cakes balls too. I want to make orange ones but haven't been able to find an orange cake mix.
