OOC - Change, Anakin & Rose are both 18.

It was time for many thing in the galaxies, it was time for a new start, each planet had there own problems, had there own fears, it was time for a change, where a man that worked on the side of good, was really working for himself. A man with two faces, a man who seemed kind but was one of the most ruthless men in the galaxy. Senator Palpatine was a man that was very mysterious and no one knew what his deal was with everything. He seemed so good but he is the lord of all Siths.

Many people have heard rumors of a group of warriors who take the force and use its power for evil. But thats all it was, was rumors, there was no proof that this was really going on. But this story takes place in a small little place on the planet Naboo. A young girl side by side a young man, his name, Anakin Skywalker. A boy 5 years older then Rose, he had a lot of power inside him, he was able to do things not many can do. He raced as a child and won a race that he should not have won. But he won because he had the force around him.

He came into Jedi training with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon Jinn stopped training on his own, his student was Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Obi took over all training of Anakin when he reached 18. Qui-Gon Jinn watched very closely on how he was growing up into a man with much promise. Rose was at the gardens and was waiting to speak with Senator Palpatine. They grew rather close, she saw him as a father figure since she had no family to speak of. They shared everything, except Palpatine didn't tell her his secret, not yet any way. He knew how close Rose was to Anakin and was happy because he knew that she would follow Anakin into the darkness, and he would gain two powerful siths in due time.

The Jedi Temple was a place she liked to come to watch them train future Jedi's, she sighed some looking down as she heard many people talking on and off, she looked up and saw a figure she had not seen in such a long time, she smiled. She knew Master Jinn wanted to speak with her, so she was also waiting for him.

Master Qui-Gon Jinn speaks to Rose

Master Qui-Gon Jinn appeared as he always did at the Jedi Temple, wearing the simple robes of a Jedi. His former Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, was instructing Anakin Skywalker in the ways of the Force, and had taken him as his Padawan Learner at Qui-Gon's behest.

He would have preferred to take Anakin and teach him, but something had changed his mind, the Force told him to trust in Obi-Wan and thus he obeyed the will of the Living Force. But there was something more.

Rose.

Young, she was young, but perhaps everyone to Qui-Gon appeared young, excepting Master Yoda of course - that brought a smile to his face, he and Yoda were well known for their disagreements, especially upon the nature of the Force, Qui-Gon with the Living Force and Yoda with the Unifying Force. It was, after all, one of the core reasons that he was not upon the Jedi Council.

Young, but not terribly so, eighteen, a legal adult upon Coruscant, after all.

She had formed a potent bond of sorts with the Chosen One, from their very first meeting she had been a dear friend of his, but it was not until late when Qui-Gon realized the depth of their connection.

"Rose, it is good to see you," he said, bowing his head to her, smiling warmly as he greeted her. "You are here to see Anakin, I presume?"

She smiled "Master Jinn its great to see you again" She said softly, she removed her hood and sighed a little. "I am watching Anakin practice with master Obi-Won, in this world ive never belonged, but here I feel at home, even tho I'm far from being anything great" She looked over at Anakin. "I feel his power but even his power will turn into the darkness we all fear, where ever Anakin goes I will go, no matter where that takes me" She said sadly. "I have very few friends here, you, Anakin and Master Obi-Won and Senator Palpatine. But I'm sure you have other things to worry about then the ramblings of an eighteen year old "

The Stranger in Black

He made his way slowly through the halls of the Jedi Temple, his eyes unintrested in the pristine walls and grand statues of Jedi of old. He had seen it all before. Tightening the dark robe that covered his entire body, and tugging the hood down just enough to obscure his eyes, he continued towards his objective.

The arrogance sickened him. The pure, unbridled arrogance!

Drawing in a deep breath through his lungs, he called his emotions. For now at least. It was important to maintain that control, and to not lose sight of his mission. His Master had been very particular.

Strolling towards a large security door, the young man raised an eyebrow at the sight of two armed Republic guards. Without saying a word he approched them.

"Excuse me Sir, Security only beyond this point." The guard spoke in a gruff authoritative tone, brandishing his weapon towards the stranger in black.

The black gloved hand waved through the air. He didn't say a word. He didn't need to.

The guards dropped without a sound, their minds shut down entirly, rendering them unconcious for several hours. Their minds were nothing compared to the power of the Force.

Approching the door, the stranger removed a small access card and waved it in front of the security terminal.

The large blast door slide open with a metallic hiss, and quiet as a shadow, the stranger slipped inside.

"All too easy" Darth Zeram spoke to himself as he approched his target.

You fear that Anakin will turn to darkness? he thought to himself. Qui-Gon looked at her. He certainly had sensed nothing. Yoda had sensed something years before, but nothing more than the usual 'Clouded his future is' and 'Great care in his training', par for the course with Master Yoda, really.

Rose sensed Anakin's power, confirming most of Qui-Gon's suspicions. He wondered if she had ever had a midichlorian count taken when she was much younger. He wondered if her parents had refused to allow the Jedi to take her away for training.

"You sense his power," he repeated. "How does his power feel to you, Rose? What does he make you feel?"

She looked at Master Jinn and closed her eyes for a moment thinking as she got a chill. "His power, ive never felt anything like this before, even with Master Yoda his power is absolute" She looked at Master Jinn. "He always makes me feel loved, but with the great power he has Master Jinn he is confused, he feels like he wants more but he doesn't understand why"

Rose looked at him "Why do you ask? I'm nothing special, ive never really worked with the force" She smiled looking at him kindly, she sighed some looking into his eyes. "What are you thinking?"

"You are a curious young woman, Rose." Qui-Gon smiled. "Obi-Wan and I are not blind to your relationship. Attachments are forbidden for Jedi, but you are good for him, anyone can see that. You have no training with the Force, Rose, but you have the gift of the Force. Through it you can hear the life beat of the galaxy, everything is connected with everything else."

She nodded "I know the code of the Jedi Master Jinn, that is why id never do anything to jeopardize that, I will take responsibility if he is to be in trouble, but I wont lie I am in love with him." She sighed sitting down "I can feel the force inside us and all around us, our galaxy was born, created by the force and yet I do not fit in this universe"

Qui-Gon stared at her. You do not belong in this universe?

"What do you mean by that, Rose? How do you not belong? You are a living being, a part of the Force. I must admit I am bewildered by your words."

She sighed looking at him "I have no family, I have no purpose here, I'm not a Jedi, I'm just me, a woman who is alone in this world, a hand full of friends that have to do there duties before me, there isn't anything wrong with that I know ones duties must be dealt with first" She looked into his eyes and looked at him. "But you don't have to worry about it"

Qui-Gon

"Rose, the purpose of existance is to live, to experience, to feel the universe all around you. You are young, you are alive, you have friends - these are all gifts, treasure them. They are, after all, denied to far too many in this galaxy."

She nodded looking at him "Alright dad" She giggled and sighed some looking at him. "I just wish I knew my destiny, but I don't, I look at all these Jedi, knowing id make a horrible one I think, I'm selfless but I don't know, I'm trying to find myself and ive yet to understand things"

Qui-Gon to Rose.

"Only the Force knows one's true destiny. We Jedi are especially aware of this. There are students of such brilliant promise that great things are expected of them, only to find tragedy. There are those whose humble beginnings who achieve miraculous things." He placed a hand upon her shoulder. "Worry not about your destiny, for it shall find you."

Then he smiled.

"You could have been a great Jedi, I think."

She looked at him "Could Have?" She tilted her head to the side, I wrote a letter before I knew you and the others I was turned away" She looked down "I tried to become a Jedi but they saw me as to young and I was turned away" She looked up at Jinn's eyes.

Qui-Gon to Rose.

I believe you mean 'too old', Qui-Gon thought to himself, but paid it no mind.

"It was the decision of your parents not to give you up to the Jedi. Infants are taken. Only extraordinarily rarely do those older than infants enter the Temple. Anakin's entry was an abberation which has not been seen in more than a thousand years, perhaps more."

Every Jedi is a child whose parents could live without, as my old Master used to say.

"Course they didn't want to give me up, I was there slave, thats all they have me do, do crap all day while they fight about me being useless and a nobody, if Anakin can do it I don't know why I can't, what if my destiny is to be a Jedi and no one will give me a chance" She had tears in her eyes and realized so she turned her head so he couldn't see the pain on her face.

Qui-Gon to Rose.

Qui-Gon didn't bother to point out the little detail that if it had been her destiny to be a Jedi, things would have happened to make it so - her parents would have been convinced to put her up for adoption, for example, or perhaps they would have died in some accident and the child taken up by the Jedi Temple.

"We all have our parts to play - those of us with the Force most of all," Qui-Gon said, knowing this comforted her not at all. "I am sorry, Rose."

It had taken several minutes longer then expected to extract the necessary data from the computer terminal, but Zeram knew the value of patience. The Jedi had always been forcing such things down his throat since his days as a Padawan. It was all they talked about in fact. Patience. They were so patient in fact that most never stopped waiting for something to happen, instead of going out there and doing it.

Destiny. The Will of the Force. They clung to these tired old ideas with all their might, desperate to keep the galaxy static. It was sad.

There would be time for that later. His Master had forseen everything that was to come to pass and all Zeram had to do was play his part in the plan.

Making his way silently out of the computer room, his black cloak obscuring every sound he made. He now possessed a disk that would tell him the movements of the entire Republic ship, down to the last registered transport, for the next 6 standard months. Everything they would need to continue this game of chess.

For just a moment, Zeram dropped the shroud of the Dark Side that helped mask his presense to the other Jedi. He felt it then...Qui-Gon Jinn? He was still alive.

"Intresting"

Yoda

Yoda was sitting on one of his mats meditating on what the world was coming to. He knew that things were possibly going to go wrong with the world and the force, but he didn't know what. He looked up when he noticed a disturbance in the force and got up to go to the view screen to see what was going on wtih everyone. "Hmm, wonder what the problem is, seems like everyone is fine at this time."

She didn't believe it but nodded "Then the force best start giving me answers, because as it is now, I have nothing" She wanted to scream but sighed. "Thank you Master Jinn for letting me vent a little" She looked at him but stopped, she closed her eyes feeling something dark.

"Master Jinn..." She opened her eyes. "I sense something bad is going to happen, I think someone bad is in the temple!"

He reached out with the Force, feeling for any sign of problem of any sort what so ever.

There was nothing.

Qui-Gon gave Rose nearly the same expression of dismissal that he had given Obi-Wan years ago in orbit of Naboo, when the foolishness of the Trade Federation exploded in their face - and the reappearance of the Sith.

"I sense nothing. Surely even Master Yoda would be able to sense 'someone bad' in the Temple," he offered to Rose.

Moreover, the Temple was packed full of highly skilled and quite lethal Jedi Knights and Masters, even if such a 'bad' person was discovered, Qui-Gon was certain they stood no chance at escaping.

She shook her head "Its more of a vision instead of a feel" She looked into his eyes. "I see things and every time I see what I see it comes true, if you wont listen to me then I guess I need to find this person" She stood up and pulled her hood up. "Or come the choice is yours but I know what I saw and I know whats going to happen"

Anakin

As Anakin finished his training for the day, he went to his room to relax and to meditate about where his life was going. He loved the Jedi training and the thought of becoming a Jedi. But there had to be more to life than that. He knew he shouldn;t think that way, but it was impossible for him to remove the thought from his mind.

OOC: I've taken this role, but will admit I'm not entirely familiar with the newer Star Wars movies. So I am VERY open to pointers on where the character should go. Mayu knows my concerns and has agreed to allow me to try this role.

"I would prefer to accompany you," Qui-Gon decided, falling into step with her. Perhaps he was wrong. Obi-Wan, had sensed something amiss when they had first visited Naboo - which eventually turned out to be the Sith, after all. "You are certain you feel this person in the Jedi Temple?"

She nodded "Good then you can gloat about me being wrong" She laughed and walked beside him she closed her eyes as she walked, seeing signs of who this strange person was, she opened up her eyes and grew faster in step, searching.

(OOC: Yes sorry I will give you information on the other 3 movies, now that I'm not busy I will do so now)
