Dear Hopeful,Dear person interviewing me...
I was absolutely excited to have received the phone call requesting that I come in for an interview. To say that I'm excited is NOT an understatement, but I will readily admit that I'm as nervous as can be. I'm afraid that my best won't be good enough. I'm afraid that instead of having my skills and abilities measured that I'll be judged on the responses I provide to the interview questions. I know that I'm not the only one that you'll be interviewing, but I am hoping you'll see that my skills and abilities would be of use and I'll get the job!
Hopeful interviewee!
As an interviewer, remember you will be judged on the answers you give not only on your resume. Fair or not, that is the way it is. So in preparation, write every question you can imagine them asking you and also your answer and then read it over and over again so that you are well prepared. It shows when one has prepared fully for an interview and when one hasn't.
Good luck!
From one who also always wanted her resume to be center but realized quickly that's not always the case.
