Dear Laurel,
I watched "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" on Netflix,and I'm still not convinced. While I think juicing can have some short-term merits, I don't see how doing it for extended periods of time can be healthy.

While I cannot do it cause I have ibs, I do know some women who tried it. Other than living in the bathroom and not getting any work done, I saw no change.

Nope, never.
I only go fluids only when I can't keep solid food down.
There is something strangely pleasurable when there is no food in your body and the IV fluids start kicking dehydration, maybe it feels like that?
No food, no food allergies...

I have done juicing for breakfast and eaten solid food the rest of the day. It's a great energy boost since I don't drink coffee. My sister tried a cleanse and lasted three days. She said she'd never want to go for more than a week.

We Christmas at home.
Apart from the odd fly around the bbq it is excellent. Then the adult children with their young ones can drop by whenever they want and it is relaxed and not stressful.
I have done 99% of the Christmas shopping. Only bigrednz and my sister to buy for.
I love handmade gifts. Especially if they are from the children.
My youngest made us a fantastic coffee table and I was so impressed.
Every year since the grandchildren (I'm a young stepGranny
I don't think of myself as a step granny) were born we get a Calender for Christmas with drawings and photos of them. It is simply awesome. Have you made plans?

I drink a lot of juices because I am anaemic. Beetroot juice, tomato juice, carrots etc mixed with fruit juices is delicious.
But I eat food as well to keep my diet as healthy as possible.
I never get pimples and have nice skin, strong nails etc and a wet nose
D) so apart from the anaemia and insomnia I am pretty healthy and love long walks on the beach.
