Taking him in an hour and a half. Don't know what to do with myself til then. He's asleep on the settee and I feel so guilty. Am going to go in with him as I feel it's my duty, don't want him to die with strangers around him. Burying him in the garden late evening when it's cooler next to Toby and Rosie.

The ONLY drawback to having pets you love so much.

Hello Everyone

Thanks so much for your kind words and well wishes. They mean a lot to me.

It's been a tough day, but the poor lad is buried in the garden now with his old muckers past. It was a very peaceful end for him. It's a new vet who was absolutely brilliant with Felix and this blubbering fucking wreck. He didn't shave his paw, but put the dose straight into his kidney (or bladder...can't remember as was crying too hard). I was glad of that as the shaving thing is distressing for them. I held his face and kissed him and he just "fell asleep" against me. It was very quick with no drama thank god.

Snowy doesn't seem to give a flying fuck but that's okay because he finds it hard to accept he's a cat most of the time.

You need the right bookshelf since the walls are round and have windows or gun openings.
