Just finished reading Koontz's latest offering, "From the Corner of His Eye."
Damn. This man has a gift. But what I like best is that virtually all of his books contain a similar theme: hope. Hope that good will prevail in the end. Hope in the indominable human spirit. Hope that life will go on.

Does anyone else love this sort of thing, or am I the only one making him a millionairre?

OMG

No way Countess! I stand in line to buy all his books the day they come out!! Thats freaking awesome.
I once skipped school to travel to New York to sit in line for 5 hours to get his autograph on my copy of a first edition of "Bad Place"

My Mum and my Sister have all of his books too, and in mint condition too, they both figure that this man is the best writer of his time, and one day they may be worth something.

Just try to talk to them when they have their noses in his books, you won't get any type of attention.

No, Countess. I have an extensive library of his books too. My bookshelves are filled and overflowing with things like Koontz, King, Rice, and then the various assortment of romance, comedy, sci fi and the classics.

*hiding Shakespeare behind back*

If it's worth reading or listening to, I have it in my books someplace. I just have to FIND it.

I love his books, I just saw that one at the mall tonight it looks really good but I need to finish The Brethren by John Grisham first.

After Stephen King, Koontz is my fav, followed by VC Andrews' FIRST Books (Before her family started writing them, now they all seem more or less the same..tho I keep buying them anyhow LOL)

Read "Dark rivers of the heart"

The rest do seem the same to me but that one is Special!

I have to say that I have yet to read even one of his books.....but...I have False Memory sitting on the table just waitng for me to find 5 free minutes to start it!

I used to read Koontz...I loved Lightning but he had this habit that always irritated me. He would develop a great plot and characters and then...poof...the ending sucked all to hell. It was as though I'd blinked and missed something, or had a few pages ripped out I was missing. My impression was that he'd reached his word limit for publication.

Admittedly, this was years ago. Has he stopped this in his later work?

Love his books. I've been reading them for years... even when he published under the "Leigh Nichols" name. Actually, I think I liked them best.

He has tons of pseudonyms.. If you are a fan, make sure you catch all of them.
