Yeah...you might say I'm making a "cum" back. And speaking of "land" stealers...the BLM (Bureu of Land Management) has begun cutting trees down near my meadow, which makes me sick on the one hand, and are attempting to close off the area for public use. This is a place that has a lot of very special and sacred meanings to me. To be denied access to this land, to the beauty it over looks is just one more travisty that this particular crazy indian would hate to see happen. And people wonder why the magic of the land and hope...trust, is disapearing.

Unfortunately, that has always been the case. It takes the common people to come together often to push the balance back to where it belongs. It makes it harder when all the power is concentrated in a group of politicians who have no opposition now. There are few checks and balances and they are trying to get rid of those when they interfere with "The Plan".

Th BIA got in in the middle of it when they were about to tear into a specail sacred place called Healing Rock. When it was all settled the Lake assoc had to come up with a new route. BIA has a lot more power than you would think when they let everyone know the funding will stop if they piss them off
Just find out when the planning meetings are and show up.

None of them work together although you would think their missions are somewhat similar. In addition to BIA, get the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy involved. There's quite a few groups you could get, but these two are pretty good. The National Resources Defense Fund-if I have that right and I hope I do because I write checks to them, is another one that does alot of litigation. Do not go quietly into the night-do not vanish without a fight! That means buy a gun!
