I don't know. Just trying to get exclusive occupancy during the divorce. It really could happen. There are some facts that do help. We have to show thyere is a propensity for violence. She's filed domestic violence charges against him twice in two years but dismissed last time. This time she has a tough victim advocate. She's given up all three of her kids and he has a son but has to do visitation at homes of friends. She added all kinds of stuff to his phone which she can't pay for. She can't pay for the utilities. She's dating a married man. She's spending money buying beer for his friends. She tried to get other housing but couldn't because she's married. There's no equity in the house although I can't seem to make her attorney fuckin' understand that. They think he has a pension and he doesn't. Most importantly, he makes 40k a year and she makes about $700/month. So who knows-depends if the judge wants to pay attention to the order from municipal court that keeps him out or not and then how bad I can make her look without him looking to bad. I've seen worse.

Well good luck, stranger things have been known to happen.

Remind me to tell you of the time when a party was testifying in a custody case and told the Judge not to interupt him when he was speaking. Other side was claiming he had an anger problem and was a control freak.

Aren't we all :D and cynical to boot.

Not me! I defending the righteous here and now I'm more resolved to make sure the bitch ends up on the street  Plus, she has weak attorney :D I think I'll see if I can get him on the phone right now and scare him.

Beats the hell out of me why she would want to live with the dude. He drinks and beats people up . Why cant her married BF put her up in an Apartment with a view and give you the address then you can go take naughty pictures and use them in court and in Lit. :D

So did you Grrrrrrrowlllll real loud at the wimpy Atty?

He wasn't there-I'll Grrrrrrowllll at him in the morning. She doesn't want to live with him, she just wants to live in the house during the divorce. Who knows, maybe I can settle the whole case tomorrow  You're making assumptions about the drinking and beating people up though. Only a few of his arrests have to do with violence in Ohio. There's kind of a nasty one in Virginia and the other attorney doesn't know about it so I doubt it'll come up. Although under my theory of the hearing, maybe it should. But yeah, I'll get some naughty pics. Actually, for a case I joined some abdutor site last night. Representing a woman married to a cop that likes to handcuff women and play. I have tons of emails from him to his gal friend but there's some pics of him restrained with ropes and belts. Maybe I can post those for you when I get 'em.

Got a forward today I've seen before. I found it touching the first time I received for personal reasons so this time, even though people have probably seen it, I'm putting it here.

___________________

Let's see if you send it back. We all know or knew someone like this!!

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.

His name was Kyle.

It looked like he was carrying all of his books.

I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?

He must really be a nerd."

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.

They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.

His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him.

He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes my heart went out to him.

So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks.

They really should get lives.

" He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!"

There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.

As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.

He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.

He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.

I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends.

He said yes.

We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.

I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!"

He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.

When we were seniors, we began to think about college.

Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke.

I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.

He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship.

Kyle was valedictorian of our class.

I teased him all the time about being a nerd.

He had to prepare a speech for graduation.

I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak

Graduation day, I saw Kyle.

He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.

He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.

He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.

Boy, sometimes I was jealous.

Today was one of those days

I could see that he was nervous about his speech.

So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.

"Thanks," he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began

"Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.

Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends...

I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.

I am going to tell you a story."

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met.

He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.

He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

"Thankfully, I was saved.

My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.

I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.

Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions.

With one small gesture you can change a person's life

For better or for worse.

God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way.

Look for God in others.

You now have two choices, you can:

1) Pass this on to your friends or

2) Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.

As you can see, I took choice number 1.
"Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

There is no beginning or e nd..Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is mystery.

Today is a gift.

It's National Friendship Week. Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND.

If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS LETTER, YOU'RE REQUESTED TO SEND IT TO AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE, INCLUDING THE PERSON WHO SENT IT TO YOU.

Reminds me of a friend of mine back in 6th grade that had a birth defect and had to wear leg braces. I can't tell you how many times I got my ass kicked standing up for him. But he never got his ass kicked, not while I was around.
I moved away for 7th grade and never saw him again, but I think about him alot. And I smile about all the black eyes and swollen lips.

I hate to admit it but I was kind of a bully back in those days. Nice of you help the dude out. Not many people would have done that.

So was I, but only to "healthy people". I wanted a fair fight. I can't tell you why, maybe it was my parents, but I could not stand to see people picking on the handicapped, disabled, whatever label your want to apply.

Oh, I did the fair ones too-I just wanted to beat people up when I was young. That feeling never really goes away for some reason. I don't know, maybe for some people it does. Makes for alot of cool stories though

So glad...

Don't want to hijack the thread but wanted to say that I am truly glad that Dawn released another audio story. Out of all of the audio files that have been released I think that by far that hers are the best. Been a long time fan of hers and glad that she was able to release a new one. And glad that her husband is open enough to share her beautiful sensuality with all of us guys out here.

Thanks again.

Interesting...

You always came off a wimp to me; didn't figure you could fight your way out of a wet paper bag. :D

One more example that people are rarely what they seem.
:) :)

Well that was kinda rude J Paul! I think you should go directly to the principals office!

Oh wait Bear says I have to look for the good in everyone.

Did those little monsters in school give you a bad day?

Back when I was younger I WAS that kid that someone would pick on.

I never got in a fight, but I had my hard times. I took alot of crap in my time.

"Healthy People"?....I haven't even had a cold in years. I'm not sick(Whipe that smile of your face Lee) I'm just built differently.......by someone who couldn't follow instructions apparently.

Life may have been hard then, but it has been great lately. :D

Just want to get something started huh  I don't know, if Dawn ever gets on here she can talk about it if she wants. It's not something I'm supposed to be pround of according to her. Still, the feel of bone crushing bone is kinda cool if you know what I mean. But then, that was alot of years and I guess I drank some then so you know, it really doesn't count. So except for a couple things in the not too distant past, the only memories I have are some scars on my hands. I'm an eye gouger now

Prayers and thoughts certainly for more than a few days my friend. Very sorry to hear about your loss. I left my email address for you on your thread because there is something I'd like to send you that may ease the pain during this time. Be well, guy!

Built differently in what way-what the hell does that mean

Well Syb, we lost the exclusive occupancy hearing. I think we could have won except for two things the judge mentioned at the end. My client had a place to live anyway and he wasn't paying the mortgage anyway. If he had been paying I think the judge may have put him back in there. I'm sure the judge was impressed when my client testified on cross he took all of his wife's clothes, piled 'em up and set 'em on fire. I'm thinking they were old clothes anyway so I didn't think it was that big a deal.

Tomorrow I get to listen to and judge high school students try and argue a death penalty case-tons of fun
