DarkSimian deserves Action Figures and Appreciation

So, haven't posted here in a while. Today's topic: Funko Mystery Mini blind boxes. These are mini bobble heads, but with a twist; you don't know exactly what you are getting (hence, the blind box). The problem is distribution, and my own dumb luck. I tend to get the same ones over and over again, while missing out on some of the more harder-to-get ones. With distribution running 1/6 (for common ones) 1/12, 1/24, 1/36, and 1/72 (rares), and store exclusives (Target, GameStop, Hot Topic, FYI, etc.), it makes it next to impossible to "catch 'em all". And there isn't as much market to trade/ sell as with the bigger Funko Pop bobble heads...so I am stuck with a LOT of duplicates. You would thick I would learn by now...:rolleyes:

Been a while, but thought I would give y'all an update: recently, I hit the motherload. Wal-Mart had some boxed sets and single figures that were going to go on clearance.
So, before they did, I put them on layaway. I paid the down payment, and waited....While they were safe and sound, they went on clearance, serious clearance: $25 figures for $5, $49 boxed sets down to $13, a $59 set for $15. All told, I got about $266 for about $70! Score! :D
 
Whenever I see his name, I have a sudden urge to play my DS. Can't explain it. :D

I feel very fortunate to be getting to know you and have to agree, you are most deserving of the love, and boob smooshes, in this thread.

Definitely makes up... you need to build an extra room, though, if you keep getting bargains.

I have a storage unit for most of my "collectibles". The 55 boxes of comics are out in the garage....
