i'm bored and indecisive. i've seen prometheus and i actually liked it, but, you know, seen it. dark shadows is tim burton movie and his annoying ass wife is in it. honestly, i'm not even sure why i downloaded beyond the chick from kick-ass is in it and she is actually capable of being funny at times. still, tough call, yo.

also, i have female troubles. no, the john waters movie. anyway, i'm not sure i'm in the mood for that nonsense.

anyway x2, i just made a thread about this. if you read it i'm sorry. also, input is good even though i'll probably ignore it and just do what i fucking feel like when i feel like doing it.

I haven't seen Prometheus or Dark Shadows and really don't have much desire to see either. If I had to pick I'd pick Prometheus but the whole "It's not an Alien prequel!" bullshit they did when it is clearly an Alien prequel really pissed me off.

I just thought Prometheus was a rewrite/alternate version of aliens, I've seen the first 15 minutes of Dark Shadows twice, (fricking kids) no idea who Depp's wife is and the chick from Kick-ass is cool.

Lockout is watchable.
Minty the Assassin, terrible, but pseudo lez sex and I watched the whole thing which is rare.

for the record prometheus wasn't as good as i had initially hoped, but better than i'd been led to believe.

and yeah, it's totally a prequel, but i get why they were begging off on that because the alien thingies are only barely there. well, not really, but yeah. i think they were just trying make sure you didn't go in expecting the same old shit.

I watched Piranha tonight just to see why two Oscar winners were in it (Richard Dreyfuss & Elizabeth Shue). Also, Ving Rhames and Jerry Connelly. I still don't know how they got those people in it, unless they spent everything on them and didn't bother with a script (which is plausible). Not even rampant gratuitous nudity could save that one.

and i got to the cheesy "sex scene" between johnny depp and eva green before my brain shut down and i was forced to give up on dark shadows. i'll probably finish it in a bit, but it's really meh. chloe was totally misused in the movie and characters just seem to suddenly vanish off screen for long periods for no discernible reason. still, it's not quite as bad as i feared. it's very mediocre instead of fucking terrible.

oh, and one more bump: i saw some deleted scenes from prometheus last night and i have to say i liked the alternate ending bits a bit better even though i can understand why they took them out. the engineer comes off more human and less randomly evil. still, his going crazy and just deciding to kill them makes a bit more sense when he talks back instead of just ripping off david's head and beating the shit out of everyone a minute after waking up.
