Wow that's long but I think it'll be worth it!

That's not happening in Dark Knight Rises.
The title says otherwise.
Batman represents capitalism, capatalism therefore respresents America. So if you hate Batman you hate America!
Nolans Batman movies are great movies not just great comic book movies. Brilliant filmmaking.
Superman was created by a Canadian, by your logic if you love Superman you hate America
The image of Superman was by a Canadian who lived in America. Saying he was created by a Canadian, while technically half correct is really stretching it.

Great - now you've given Vivid an idea for a black porn title.![]()
I assume you didn't get shot at then.
A friend cancelled because she was too scared to go. I did hear cops on bikes outside saying they were securing the back exits to all of the theaters.
While everyone was sitting before the movie, a couple of cinema workers got on the microphone and started trying to be cute ("Sorry, there'll be no Dark Knight tonight; we're showing Spider-Man instead"; "We can see you, but you can't see us, ooooo...") I yelled out, "These two are why Colorado happened", and the place erupted.
(No, I didn't. But it would've killed.)
Gordon-Levitt did just fine. Would've been more fun if they'd revealed his real name as Dick Grayson at the end, and not hit the audience across the brow with "Robin". I heard groans.
Still, it was good.
I've only been here a little while now.
I seriously hope to god they don't trying continuing the story from this point with either Robin/Nightwing or him as the next Batman...because Nolan won't be on board and it would probbaly be a disaster
I'm thinking they may try to roll him over into the "Justice League" movie they are trying to get off the ground now, since Bale won't be in it . . .

Went to see The Dark Knight Rises.
Alfred: too many tears.
Anne Hathaway was great, and her character was reasonably well worked-out. Should have been a little more of her.
Bane was one-note, but fairly well-done one-note.
Talia al Ghul shouldn't have been in this. Her relationship with Batman in the Batman universe is complicated and very interesting; here, she felt tacked on. I can appreciate that Nolan didn't want to leave her out, but either you go with Talia and Bane, or Selina and Bane. Not all three.

the twist with talia was good at the end, didn't see it coming and the explanation provided seemed credible and not tacked on.
