I saw the movie, "Daredevil" recently with my kids. I think the star is Ben Affleck? and Jennifer Garner. He plays a blind guy, blinded by a biochemical accident. He develops other super-senses because of it. He fights/woos Jennifer and has some great sex with her later.

I want to see or write a story with a character like that, with super senses, a blind guy who can see and know more about his woman than any sighted guy, and turn her on appropriately.

Question: I would have trouble making it like the movie, which was only one short scene. And, I don't want to plagerize or copy from them. So, should I use the idea and develop my own character with similar senses, and not use Jen and Ben? Celebrity stories are SO very hard to write well, and only groupies "Get" them.

adapt the concept, change it, make it your own. There is no copyright on blind heroes....

Thanks

Did you see the movie? Do you think the concept will fly?

OBTW, this is the movie where "Electra" was created first.
