I thought I'd post this in its own thread, since I'm sure there will be a lot of fans coming to look for DK's stories over the next little while.

Yes, Literotica's #1 most popular author, Danielle Kitten, has left Literotica. Her reasons are listed here.

You can check her blog here.

She stated she will no longer be posting work for free anywhere, but you can still read her work under her published name, Wendy Stone.

Got an email from Danielle last night and she asked me to thank everyone for their love and support!

That was fun, good vibes for doing this :D

By the way she is getting ready to publish a short, She sent the cover art and it was great :D
 
Danielle is a class act. She is gracious, good hearted, generous, fun and a heck of a writer. I will miss her presence on this website. We are all the poorer for her absence.

This breaks my heart. DK commented on my very first chapter of the first story I posted here. I felt like I'd won the lottery. :) Having her encouragement is what kept me typing and posting. If it weren't for her, I'd still be "sort of trying to write", instead of writing. I'll miss her tremendously.

Hey all, I got some news through some of the people that have been writing me that someone was planning on signing up under my name and then attacking people with it. I'll be damned if I'll let that happen, so I resigned up this name and I'm going to keep the account open, but I won't post stories here unless things change drastically. I doubt they will. I don't believe in flying pigs either. Thanks to all of you who have been looking for me. I'm still writing. Take care all, I'll miss you.

I'm happy that Danielle will still be a member of our forum community. :)

Her stories not being on the site are a loss for the site but that's not my problem. My only regret there is that DK loses a nice source of fan-base building opportunities, but apparently she has a nice base established already, and maybe her presence will be a big boost to her new host.

Don't be a stranger, DK. Per your post on another thread, this is a place inhabited by nice people who will help a person, notwithstanding its shortcomings.

Dog? I have a dog? But I thought I had kittens? Rico and Riley, a Yorkie and Pom consequetively and a wonderfull evil cat named DumbAss. I might have to change his name thought because my husband is quite deserving of it right now.

Hi DK - glad you will be around at least to post here and there. Your last sentence reminded me of when I was a newbie to the online world. I was at a site for moms of toddlers and I kept seeing people use "DH" to refer to their husbands. I thought they meant dick head! (and I'm sure sometimes they did)
