1. I assume there isn’t a way to block people from copying/sharing/etc. photos, etc. on your account (I think sites like photobucket did, but they block explicit photos).
2. I, for some reason, downloaded the imgur app long ago. I can’t say that I use it. So can you follow people on it like Tumblr or does it serve a different purpose?
3. If you find that people shared your photo, are you able to delete it from imgur and then their copy goes away too? I assume no, but still curious.
4. Is your ability to track where all of the photos have been shared, etc. because of your innate IT prowess or can any schmo do it?
5. Keeping in mind that you are a prolific photo poster, how long does a project like this take a person?

Ok,

1) there are sites that password protect, but that seems a pain in the ass for viewers. There are sites that disable right click but that os meaningless as it takes minimal work to get around it, and that is not even what I was noticing (though I am sure is happening too)

2) you can view everything a imgur user has publicly posted, which doesn't help you here as most keep it hidden, meaning you must have a link. So looking at my account shows 0 posts. If you post publicly, it is displayed to the entire imgur community.

3) the sharing I noticed, most of it, yes i can delete. Theu never downloaded it, they copied my link by clicking on one of my images. Because my link was so easy they embedded my link or image just like I do. If i delete the linked file it will display an error page. Some actually did download and rehost so can't help that but most did not.

4) IT has nothing to do with it. Imgur has a view counter on every image. So I flip through and see 100 clicks, 100 clicks, 500 clicks. 200, 50, 90, 400, 125k clicks and over a terrabyte of data. Well that sticks out. Right click it, left click search google for this image, and I see at least the public sites it is on. Super basic.

5) how long? Before imgur shut down their mobile site, the view count was on the thumbnail and keep scrolling and thumbnails auto loaded 100 at a time so 3000 items. 15 minutes. Keep scrolling until something stands out, swipe up about 30 times and scan. Now you have to look at the image, so open tbe first and keep hitting next image until something looks off, at 2 seconds an image until the details load, 3000 of them is closer to 2 bours. Being thorough would be reverse searching every image regardless of viewcount so 6 hours. And really thorough would be also rotating every angle reverse searching each, theb flipping and reverse searching every rotation so 60 hours. I just did so far about 500 reverse searching high views just for what I posted, so 15 to 20 minutes. I am no longer that curious but maybe i will get that bored to continue.
