The kitchen leaked in the house L and I are moving to. The damage is so bad that the landlord will have to take out the kitchen and the floor and replace them. This means that instead of moving this weekend it's been put back till Sept 21st. Over 2 weeks more of LTR for Master and I.

Sorry you have to wait, but I also believe things happen for a reason so perhaps this is preventing you going through something unpleasant during the 2 weeks you would have been living there....and how could he blame you for what happened in a house you were both still to move into to?

Oh I was joking about that part, he'd never blame me for something that wasn't my fault. Sometimes he picks things to get all domly about - like the phone call, although I should have charged the phone it wasn't like I intended to cut him off mid sentence. We both know he just wants flex his dom muscle and isn't really angry, it's light hearted banter for us.

In a way it's good because if we had moved in and then the place flooded we'd have lost stuff, the house would be barely inhabitable and we'd be paying rent on it. I'm not one for believing in fate but I am glad the house didn't flood while we were there.

Thanks hon. I know worse things do ahppen but right now I'm living in a tiny flat stacked with boxes of stuff I can't get to and a new sofa and armchair that are far too big for my postage stamp sized lounge/kitchen. I'm living out of one suitcase, washing clothes in rotation and I'm on the verge of a total sense of humour failure.

Oh definitely, I totally agree. I had a sneaky look through the back window the other day and they've got big heaters in there trying to dry everything out. Part of the kitchen floor has been removed and there's a huge gap where the kitchen cupboards used to be. Hopefully it should be done soon though.

I'm travelling to see Master tomorrow Unfortunately the train tickets I booked didn't arrive so I have to take ID and my booking number to the station and beg for a printout. Can't anything go right? Surely by the law of averages something should have gone right for me by accident now!?

Well I'm here although the journey was awful.

Anyway. Master and I caught the bus into town yesterday as had a look around. Without warning he bought me a black leather collar and leash! He has not placed it on me as yet and I wonder if he's saving that for moving day when we finally get our own place. I'm so excited, this will be a milestone for us.
