It is true that their are creepy people that lurk around Literotica. But that is true wherever you go in the world. The world is loaded with creeps. The fact that people post critical remarks and yet want anonymity should not be a surprise. Did you think that all of the user names are peoples real legal names? My real name is not Seeshelly. I would be crazy to give out my real name and location because the world is loaded with creeps. So if I comment on what you write and say good things or bad things what difference does it make? It is best not to go through life worrying about what other people think. Don't let your self worth be effected by the opinions of others. Judge yourself on your own commitment to your ideals and work to improve your ideals.

By the way... is your user name your real legal name? If not then you are posting this tread and yet maintaining your anonymity. I don't see a problem with that.

At least they commented and told you how they felt. Its better hearing it than thinking your stories are great, and really they just aren't worth the read. Typically when I can't get through a story, I go to the comments and others already voiced this. #truthurts.

I get it. But still, it's surprising that no one else seems to see that allowing people to post comments anonymously is allowing for malcontents and trolls to influence public opinion. Reading the thread, anyone who doesn't agree with you has been mentally dismissed as a moron. There's your opinions, and there's stupid opinions. Those are the options.

I'm pretty sure that when you get a shitty review from a named poster, you at the very least check out their profile. Maybe even read a story or a few posts. You find the flaws (frequent typos, lame personal ads, poor writing style, ugly avatar), and this confirms your suspicion that they're a moron. Their opinions are stupid opinions, so their critique is irrelevant. You get to pull out that nasty splinter and toss it aside.
When someone reviews anonymously, you can't do that. You can't find any flaws other than that they posted anonymously. Therefore, in order to disarm their opinions, you must believe that reviewing anonymously is a character flaw in itself. Judge them!!! And attempt to reinforce your judgement by posting a thread for others to agree with you in.
And when they don't agree, your indignation shines bright.
