I also edit for typing and error mistakes because they drive me crazy. After being involved in some real life legal stuff, I have edited (deleted) some previous posts which were discussions of my personal opinions or behavior that were just better taken out of public view. Other than that, I let my posts stand, even if they're embarrassing. *shrug* I let things lie as they may.

Only once have I regretted posting something because I realized it was too much information to place in a public forum and that quick-gun Nora quoted me before I could edit. She knew my reasons, agreed with me and was gracious enough to edit her quote also.
