Dam computer hard drive crash

I lost everythign on it.
I was collecting little utilities and programs for my computer.
Yesterday morning it sounded fine. last night like fingers grinding across a chalk board.

months of collecting down the tubes.

pheonyx, its a long shot, but...find you a program to copy from one hard drive to another. you will need two computers.

buy a new hard drive.

install software on good computer.

take out old, bad hard drive out and put it in the freezer, yes freezer for 45-50 mins.

Take out and reinstall asap.

PRAY and push on button.

if it boots up, copy from hard drive to hard drive asap.

i feel your pain. i too collect software. i have over 700 mb on rewritable disk.

as a matter of fact i have a small program that will will copy the hard drive that was used for that purpose if you want it let me know. fgarvb1@yahoo.com

It's Ok I got programs at work that can do it. Its called Norton Ghost. Im gonna try the freezer thing.
