Had to tick a couple but I have 3 and have a desire for 2 more...all are places that mean I don't have to alter the way I dress to cover them for work although my line of work means that they aren't an issue. I just like to keep them private. They all mean something significant to me in design and remind me of particular times of my life...

What makes me smile is when people say that I don't look like the type of person to have them...I think that says more about them than about me...

One, on my foot.... hurt like a bitch too. I thought I was great at handling pain. Tattoo guy may say otherwise. That being said...plan to get another one with my daughter in a few years when shes old enough (but NOT on my foot).

I cant find the right tree...or the right place on my body. ....so I want but it'll probably never happen. And I'm always terrified when I see people get a tattoo and it's so bad.....

I have no desire for myself.. however..
when I was in nursing school, I had a classmate who had a tribal band around her thigh right where a miniskirt hem would sit. It was very sexy. (you know, on her 22 year old leg that still hadn't suffered from any visible signs of aging)
