I like the 90's too...it's nostalgic and I still have a thing for those sexy alternative bands....pearl jam...need i say more?

But my dad bought out a dj so I listened to tons of awesome 60's and 70's vinyl.
I don't know...so many to choose from.

I agree with Cowslinger, it's the late 60's and early 70's the developed so many of the classic groups and sounds. The 70's were even great enough that I can forgive disco.

1970's

There was so much going on then. There was so much carryover from the 60's, Bands started in the 60's got real good and did their best work on the 70's. Allman Bros., Stones, Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Grateful Dead, The Who. I remember Bruce Springsteen playing a local college and clubs in the mid-seventies when I was in high school. Then the decade ended with the emergence of bands like the Clash, The Talking Heads, Dire Straits, and REM.

I listen to and enjoy music form all those time periods, But I'll vote for the Seventies.

Probably says something about the age demographic of your poll takers. Lol. But all I have to do is think of every cover band I've heard for the last ten years and I'm positive 80s music rules. Even my kids like 80s stuff. I'm just a sucker for something I can sing along with and pop music of the 80s and country music of 90s are full of nice melodies with fun lyrics.
