It was a tie between the stupid bows and toe polish and dressing the dog up. This was a def multi choice for me. I could have picked more than a handful of your options.

I never put bows or ribbons on my dogs. The two border collies that I had were complete opposites, one would rip a bandage off after about two seconds and the other one would milk her injury for all it was worth.

I use to groom my dogs myself. They loved getting their hair cut and every time I got the clippers out they would race to the door to see who would be getting their hair shaved off first. But if it did start to get cold after I cut their hair off, they would snuggle down under a blanket to keep warm.

Owners that dress their dogs up in clothing are just asking to get their own clothes ripped to shreds.

Animals can be vindictive. LOL. Trust me, I know.

Hey Clowns what fun!

I like lots of them but the one I voted for is serious and widespread and that's the 'not letting them sniff n explore on walks' thing. I do think that's actually cruel. It's like insisting your kids go blindfold to the park. Dogs do smellyvision, not television.

If someone can't do animalistic, leave off pets and get a prude partner instead.

I don't have a dog but see pictures posted on places like Facebook of dogs dressed up and all I see in their eyes is the promise that, if you die in the house alone with them, they ARE going to eat your face...

I voted for the bows & ribbons, but I will defend the coat/sweater in the winter thing. I have a little dog, I live in the north and he shivers in the winter without a sweater. Plus he looks like such a handsome boy in his sweater... the most handsome boy in all the world...yes he is... yes he is... yes he is!
