Hi Peaches!! Hugs from me too!

Cookie, I didn't realize that your Daddy lives close to you. That is awesome!!!! And I do plan to take his advice. I'm rather new to a lot of this stuff. I wish I could drink some white wine in a sippy. ;)

Aww, I'm glad you had some special time with your little girl. I bet she loves her time with you. :)

I hadn't been on a regular bike in over 12 years. Recumbant stationary bikes are a different ride. I bet I was centering my feet. I know I need to get my seat adjusted higher too. I appreciate any suggestions you have. Thank you!

Will you get some time with Miss A too?

I try to be the best Dad I can. It's hard on her with the divorce. :( I'm doing my best to fight for at least joint custody.

When you're adjusting your seat, try and make it high enough that your leg is almost but not fully extended. Recumbent bikes are a lot different because you can use your back as a brace/leverage and you can't on a regular bike. In any case, it will take a bit for your legs to get used to it, just like any other exercise. ;)

I get special time with my Angelbunny every night! :D We always talk on the phone before bed time so we can go over our day and I can tuck her into bed. We haven't missed a night in almost a year (and that's on the 22nd - Monday :D )

Good evening, my loving family!

Another wonderful day here in paradise with Daddy.
Somehow, he managed to keep his hands off of me long enough to get some yard work done on this unseasonably warm day..almost 90. ;) My back, arms and hands are aching like you wouldn't believe. A hot shower eased some of the pain and hoping snuggling in my comfy bed and a few Advil will take care of the rest.

INL, I feel your pain! Great advice from Mutato! One my of my bff's is a triathlete and he says the same.
Have a special drink in your sippy cup..perhaps that will help. ~giggles~

UBW, I'm so happy you had a great day! I'd rather kept busy than be bored to tears. :)

NFL, our sister INL is correct, your absence was noticed and you were sorely missed!

To my Daddy... Thank you for yet another absolutely amazing day!!! You are truly a spectacular man and exceptional Daddy.

It's an amazing little girl that's makes for an exceptional Daddy...the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts analogy is true here. Love you buttercup!
Hi peaches, INL hope everything is improving for you both. Hello to all the precious little girls and Daddies.

Well, hello Miss Peaches!
How did I know you would sneak in, just as I was posting? ~hehe~

I hope today was better for you and you had a chance to enjoy this beautiful weather!

"(((Hugs))) Little sister!!! No I was locked away - as usual - from early until nearly dark. Despite our pretense of having an hour 'break' for lunch - the last morning patient left 10 minutes before the first of the afternoon patients showed up - gulped lunch, no break, and no walk and left at 7:15 PM - (we 'close' at 5....) - ran to the Pharmacy and to get my hair cut, grabbed a taco salad in passing and got home at 8:45PM....knowing that in 12 hours it starts all over again. Repeat after me.....'I love my job......I love my job.....' I am VERY glad YOU got to enjoy the day though!"

"Hi INL! (((Hugs))) They make some wonderful adult sippy cups (for those of us who have a tendency to knock things over:eek:) and you can drink whatever you WANT in yours! I'm having strawberry smoothie and trying to pretend it's really strawberry dacquiri - there's a temptation to say 'f--k it' and have a drink but it's only been a year and I still remember that incredible pain when the RA first flared and they diagnosed it.......Maybe in another year or two:D Sorry your hamstrings hurt hon' but I so admire you for biking!":rose:

Been debating doing this... but have lurked around this week. Seems like "old home" week. So here I am!!!!
Very nice to see some familiar faces.:D

"Thank you! With everything going on in the world I feel sort of silly whining about my silly problems - but I'll take all the hugs I can get always! (((Hugs))) back and hope YOU had a good Hump Day too!"

I had a pretty good Hump Day. We all have our problems, but sometimes sharing them helps to lighten the load knowing that we're not alone. And they're certainly not silly! They are very real and important to you! (((HUGS)))

That is so sweet. I have hoped and prayed for you two.

Joint custody is critical. Your daughter needs her Dad in her life. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I hope I can get another ride in this week. The weather hasn't been cooperating. But I will tell you how it goes. I believe my leg needed a little more room to straighten. I will get it.

It's an amazing little girl that's makes for an exceptional Daddy...the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts analogy is true here. Love you buttercup!

The wine is the problem. I can't/shouldn't drink alcohol. It will get to me fast. So maybe the little sippy would be better? ;)

I wish your pain would completely disappear. I am sending positive vibes!

The soreness means good things as far as I'm concerned. The muscles were used and are adjusting. It's a riot to ride again. I even bought a helmet.

I may have left for awhile sweety, but I will never change! Hop on up.

(Sighing happily with relief) "Thank you Daddy!" (Climbing up on your lap and cuddling close, laying my head on your shoulder and kissing your jaw)

"Thank you for asking and for listening.....and for hugs! Congratulations on your almost anniversary with your Miss A. Those bedtime phone calls are the best and it must make her feel pretty special to know that she is a priority with you!"

Awww!
Giving a big hug.
Missed my Peaches!

And hello to INL, NFL, & Cookie! Did everyone play nice while I have been gone?
Got any good stories Peaches? Catch Daddy up on the gossip.

Thank you for your prayers! I need every one of them. The custody issue is a big one for me, even more so since my nearest family is over 2000 miles away and my ex has a big family locally for support.

By all means you better wear a helmet! (sorry, my Daddy jumped out ;) ) Seriously, please wear it! I can't stress enough the importance of wearing a helmet on a bicycle or motorcycle or even skateboards and such! I was in a few accidents with other motor vehicles on my bicycle when I was younger - too many years ago - one of them very serious and I wasn't wearing a helmet. This was before they were in common use. I had some head trauma among other injuries and I was damned lucky it wasn't worse. (If for some strange reason you wish the details, please PM me.)

"Hmmmm - well, we have a new sister - 'OK' - and a new Daddy.....Heatsink.... and recently they seem to have adopted similar Avs.....and now they've disappeared..... And Daddy Mutato is pretty new but we haven't met his little 'Angelbunny' yet.... And Cookie and Daddy Stan are totally GONE for each other! INL has taken up bicycle riding and our sister RA does the most amazing things - including raising BEES!" (Giggling) "Is that the kind of gossip you were looking for Daddy?"

All good news then. Surpised it was so tame then too. No special parties? No hide and seek? No little panties left strewn on the floor?

Thank you :) I give her a wake up call every morning, we talk at least once during the day on our lunch breaks, and on my drive home from work. Along with my daughter, she is my top priority. We met here on Lit a year ago Monday

I love you too, Daddy! We are pretty darn amazing together, aren't we?

Lucky man.....I say that exact same thing everyday! Welcome back and here's your key to the
Daddy Man Cave....

Thanks Stan. But I don't need the key... the girls always snuck me in;)

Well, gonna call it a night and head to bed. Hope to catch up with you all soon.

"Nope! No slumber parties - or hide and seek and DEFINITELY no panties left on the floor." (Lifting up my nightie) "See! NO panties at ALL!" (Giggles)

"Congratulations! My Significant Other and I met on Lit......it will be four years on Sept 11th - and since we currently live 150 miles apart we do much the same thing - wake up calls - bed time calls - texts throughout the day/night (we often work different shifts too) when we can. Hang in there - Lit relationships are amazing!"
