Cyber/phone sex - Does it do it for you or does it leave you cold?

With the advent of the internet, cheap long distance and other means "mass communication" came the advent of cybersex and phone sex.

For some of us, it is a real turn on and for others it just leaves us cold and dry.

I personally encountered cybersex for the first time way back almost 16 or so years ago when the main way of chatting was AOL and was really naive about such things. In fact, I can still recall the what lead me up to the conversation and the affect is had on me.

Phonesex and cyber to me are just extensions of reading an erotic story, instead of one author there are two and I enjoy the chance to learn about a potential partner and what buttons they reveal to me.

From a sub point of view.... As for me I enjoy phone sex now as a result of being collared to someone who lives away from me. I can deal with cyber because I'm much better with the written word than the spoken one, and I always have been. Phone sex just feels stupid to me. I feel awkward on the phone, anyway. I'm one of those people who always has to think for a second about what I'm going to say.
