Well, Curiousity (Even spelled wrong) killed the cat.
I'm working on my second life already accoring to my threads.

What kind of animals do you own and perhaps identify with?

There's dog people. Cat people. Fish people. Hell you can identify with a bat or a zebra but if you do i'd be intrested to know.

I currently have 5 cats and 3 dogs. I, at one point had one guinea pig, 2 rabbits, 1 squirrel, and 8 dogs. I like animals. I think i most identify with cats. My boyfriend says that I'd make a good cat, eat, sleep in the sun, claw things, and be pickey.

(bahaha i'm just going to start a whole buncha threads asking you about yourselves. let's see if there any connections between BDSM and the type of animals people like, or their jobs or, soon to come, their faith, etc...)

I live with 5 cats
Don't know if anyone really OWNS them
But I am an animal person in general, always have been
I've had most pets you can think of in my life and hope to have more
I always said if I had as much luck with women as I do with animals that I'd be a MUCH tired-er guy ;)

A coincidence between me and a catholic calender... i was born on the feast day of St Francis of Assisi (and i've been to his church and grave in italy too) He's the patron saint of animals and i've always had a lot of animals. I also seem to be very good at calming them and getting them to like me.

besides at least with women you don't have to scoop their litter.

I am the most obedient servant of one cat God and one cat Goddess.

I clean Master and Mistress' poops graciously, feed them, brush them and attend to their every whim.

Interestingly I have a pet theory that most D's are cat people.

(SHHH i do too that's why i started this.. testing the theory)

Two cats - one orange, longhaired tabby rescued from the pound. One Birman, a breeder's runt that had a broken tail. Birman's act like dogs; they follow you around, talk a lot, this one meets me at the door and even walks on a leash.

I don't scoop cat poop. They get a clean bag every two days with a small amount of litter. I only pull the drawstring to close the bag and take it to the trash. I dealt with enough poop while raising two kids.

We had two hamsters last year. One escaped when the girls had it outside. The other escaped many times in the house, the last time for good. Found it's way down from the second floor to the first, chewed through a baseboard quarter-round in the kitchen, and went down to the dungeon between the walls. Haven't heard from her since. :D
(Maybe she met up with a Dom rat down there, lol)

Two dogs here - although I really love and have had cats, but if I have to choose, it will be dogs over cats. Though I tend to gravitate to breeds that are more aloof and less obedient, and even cat-like... like basenjis. I like a dog's protection value and their ability to adapt to most and changing environments - I have 180lbs of dog lol. Although it's alot like having kids in their dependency.

Mistress has a cat... and plans on getting more cats.

Most definatly cats.

Oh, and if you're wondering? That funny looking string of accented vowels in my sig line is suomi for:
"People who don't like cats must have been mice in a previous life."

I'm a dog person. I have 2 little dominant dachsunds that have trained me well to meet their needs and cater to their whims.

I like cats, but they make me itch and sneeze.

we now have 5 cats with 2 that are going to possibly have liters in the near future. i have always been around animals and would love to get an alaskan huskie or a akida.

Never knew a person could own a cat

Mine took a vote
and decided they would not replacement if something happened
humans are to big a pain......

Excpet in feeding and litter pans

I may be the aberration... something that I've
gotten well used to in life. :)

I have three dogs, one cat, one amazon parrot,
koi goldfish, and horses. I adore my cat, a Maine
Coon mix... but I am definitively a dog person.
In particular, one personish breeds, protective
breeds.

In high school, mostly my large dogs served as
a secondary line of defense if my big mouth wrote
a check that my skinny ass couldn't cash. :D

LOL ;) Normally they just give me a sense of security, but I do admit that at least once I used them that way. I was walking them a couple of years ago and a panhandler with attitude passed and asked "Change?", I said "No, sorry." and kept walking. He turned around and yelled, "Why? 'Cause you're selfish?!"...

okay, it was uncalled for, but I was in a mood, so I replied, "No, because I am not your Mommy." That really set him off and was followed by a slew of profanity, and a threat to poison my dogs. I stopped, turned around and beckoned him to come on over and try to poison my dogs. He flipped me off, and walked the other direction eventually lol. Of course had he come over I had no intent of getting my dogs in trouble for biting him - I had pepper spray to take him down if necessary, but he wasn't about to brave the dogs at 90lbs each. :D

For the time being, I live with a cat. Sad to say, he must go stay with my parents. My new apartment owner will not allow him, and affordable apartments are VERY hard to come by in my neck of the woods. Apartment over kitty, I'm afraid. *sigh*

At least I'll get to visit every now and again.

I am much more a cat person than a dog person. Dogs tend to drive me crazy. I love the independence and the "attitude" of cats.

Im an animal lover for sure.

I have a Great Dane (will never be without a great dane in my life) that just had puppies....am keeping one, so will have two. I paid too much money to rescue her and her mate from a sickening outdoor backyard breeding situation but had to find another home for him, he jumped our 7 foot fence :/ Ah well, it was worth every cent, the mom is wonderful and dad has a wonderful new loving INDOOR home too. I hate irresponsible breeders.

I also have a Seal point ragdoll and a plain old domestic grey/white cat. Love rags, will never be without one of them in my life either.

I have an african grey parrot, a nanday conure, 2 lovebirds (gay lovebirds no less), a pair of cockatiels, and...hrm, yeah, thats all for the birds.

a bunny and two guinia pigs that all live together.

too many horses to count (we raise american paint horses)

and a betta fish :)
