here's one for ya cupie boy,
true story.
at the tender age of 7 yrs old, i ran into a young lady who was in the second grade and 8 yrs old. fast forward a few years. 1974 i am in the 4th grade and she is in the 5th grade. we become childhood sweethearts. fast forward, the last time i saw her i was in the 6th grade and she was now in the 7th and out of elementary and i saw her in a dres for the first time. she was walking up some stairs and i could only stare at her and she kept looking back at me as she went up the stairs. then she disappeared from my life until the mid-1980's. awkward meeting, she had a boyfriend, and not much was said. fast forward to december 2010. she looks me up on facebook. this after both of us had been married and divorced and both had 2 kids each. we sit up twice a week "talking" on the net until the wee hours in the morning. i've already made her a necklace and sent it to her and she made a special pic just for me wearing it. and i will be sending her a red rose made of leather for feb 14. we plan on seeing ech other this coming summer.
is it ok for me to feel like a giddy love sick kid after all these years?
