In another thread, a woman said that if a man use the "C" word, he better be planning to end the relationship.

Personally, I have always liked the word pussy, but I did date a woman who despised it, and always referred to her vagina as her cunt. She thought the word sounded more "substantial."

As for my equipment, I have never liked the word cock. Up til only a few years ago, I had never heard it used outside of a porno film. So it's just not comfortable for me to use it. I have problems even having a character use the word in a story I'm writing, as I always think it sounds forced.

So the gist of this thread is. What's your favorite word for your equipment, and why?

I'm with your former lover and possibly Perdita in thinking that "cunt" has a power to it. It's really quite an enticing word. For euphamisms, I've always loved "my pretty thing," as the Wife of Bath calls it.

"Cock" works for me as well. It's pleasantly forceful in sound, strong but easily handled. Now doesn't that sound pleasant?

I loathe anything that sounds cute or childish - "titties," "bum," "willy," etc. It's all right outside of the bedroom, but in the act it kills all excitement.

I really like the word bum, it so nice and rounded.

Cock and cunt for me also but I do like to use dick and pussy as well. It’s nice to mix it up.

Now RG, stop waxing poetic and tell us how you really feel.:D

As for me, well I like to mix up the words in my wiriting, just so it doesn't sound repititiouse(Spelling for that fifty cent word.) As fr what I call it in normal, everyday life? I don't call it, it never answers.

prick sounds painful
dick sounds small
penis is plain, but
cock seems to say it all.

Dick and pussy.

Cunt and cock just sounds so porno filmish to me. Niether seems to be used that often.

I'm gonna get me some cunt tonight!
That just don't sound right.

Cunt for sluts, one night stands, or hard fucking, and pussy for those you care about. There are many other words, but those I never use. Would rather take a paragraph to describe cunt or pussy than use them. Those unmentionable are the ones I really HATE.

Cock mostly, I like the stiffness of the word . . . parts = shaft, head, or at times lips pulling on foreskin is a good image. Hm. When too many COCK's coincide in a paragraph, I resort, as with pussy, to description or rod/ dick depending on the context.

Manhood is description of cock that I could live without seeing for the rest of my life :)

Ass has always been hard for me, I hate ass 'hole' and other than descript of it, there is no elegant way (as far as I know, enlighten me if I am wrong) of describing it in a word. The Brit pref for arse is just beyond my comprehension LOL. (sorry)

Usually, I'll say cunt and dick.

But, I do use pussy and cock sometimes.

Then again, I tend to use pussy and cock more in stories - unless I want the characters to talk feelthy, then I'll have them say "cunt".

But, me, personally, when being feelthy it's cunt or dick OR cock.

When just chatting about them it's pussy and dick.

Got all that? :D

Edited to add: or worshipful icon of all that is most holy.

In regards to that particular part of a woman's anatomy, I have better things to do with my mouth than talk about it.

LOL!

Slam that slimy scumbone into my slippery slopslit, slutfuck! oooo! I could alliterate all night on that.

I couldn't care less about which word to use for a guy's junk. Dick, cock, meat cannon, baby batter stir stick, boner, whatever. It's still just a guy's junk.

I actually prefer "cunt" but unfortunately I live somewhere that if I let that one fly I'll be hanged by every woman within ear-shot of my naughty, naughty mouth.

In dialog, it depends on the character. Otherwise, I most often (but not exclusively) use "her sex" (quaint, I know) and cock.

What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

True, but in erotica, and frankly even sex, words are everything. The wrong word at the wrong time can stop things as quickly as a cold shower, and saying the right things can take the excitement up to a whole new level

I end up there a lot too ("her sex"), but largely because so many of my stories are set in earlier time periods and involve characters who would not logically use the coarser terms. It's an interesting challenge, anyway, trying to take a convent girl through multiple lengthy sex scenes without any of the familiar terms.

For my latest, I ended up even more delicate - "my most intimate body" - but I think for rather good reasons ;) Some types of people just aren't likely to have much of a sexual vocabulary.

(Edited to add: PS Imp, actually "quaint" or "quiente" also used to mean "cunt." Nice play on words in your post ;))
