There are lots of different ways to be a cross dresser and everyone has their own reasons and styles.
I’m into it for several different reasons and in a ‘fluid’ sort of way that changes with my mood and activities, and though kink is a big part, it’s the closet part of CD for me.
At work I present mostly as cis, though the few women I’ve met in my trade wear the same things as men, it’s just practical. The brand Carhart makes great work clothes and I wear some of their women’s clothing, they make miniskirts too but that’s not practical for my work. They recently started making women’s work pants in a tight leggings-style. I’m going have to get a pair eventually…
I also like their long-sleeve thermal shirts with thumb-loops and curved hems — most of those are made for women.
Casually I often wear T-shirts that are women’s cut. I like the wider neck and the shorter sleeves that a lot of them have. I avoid the flowery stuff — not my gig.
My wife and I went out to dinner and a movie today with me in my brown utility kilt and a black hoodie with a snap crotch. It gives me that tucked-in look that I could spot from a mile away and know that it is a bodysuit. I look cute and feel like a chick in that, getting good vibes and attention from some people, while any others don’t pay me any mind.
I love being a tomgurl.
