This was a fun little collaboration effort between Fflow and myself . His wonderful photography ,
and me not being able to leave well enough alone , I had to throw a few things into the pic .

Here are both the original and the rendered version .

So many talented people in here ,
excellent thread , great work , everyone !
Wow, Chainzz! The rendered version looks just amazing!!! Well done and thank you for sharing your mad skills with us...

Master

Hey Hey ,What's shakin SRW ?? Always nice to hear from you .

That's quite a compliment , coming from a man of your talents , knowledge ,
and overall brilliance . I'm still humbled by your amazing photography , and your artwork ,
but I must say that calling that last rendering a masterpiece is pretty damn cool in my book ,
thank you , sir .

As far as calling me " the master " , ya know it's funny , I keep telling my girlfriend the same thing ,
that I am her Master , but she just rolls her eyes at me and tells me to fuck off ,
but I do believe that she's actually buying into parts of it now ,
she even made me a sammich last week ,
so I have that going for me now !!

If you happen to run across more of your camera work , of old barns ,
or anything else out of the norm for this place ,etc... ,
shoot them over my way , I'd love to see much more collaborations between Litsters in general .
With the talent shown in this thread alone , it could be big time fun .

Thanks again brother man , and hello to the Mrs. , as well .

Next thing you know, your girlfriend will be baking you a pie!

I've been a bit fallow of late. I need to get back on the creative horse. The music project I'm part of has recorded two new tracks, and I need to start the third. I quite like the first two, even though they're not exactly mainstream, even for me!

I've not been doing much photography lately, mostly because I've been otherwise occupied. Still, perhaps your suggestion will inspire me to get off my ass and take some pictures. There's a spot I've been interested in exploring, but it is a bit tricky... an old refinery.

I went to an opera today, and was really knocked out by the very modern production. They were using real time computer generated video projections that interacted with the people on the stage. Very cool!

Anyway... off to bed.

Peace!

Thank you , nawtyshutterbug , I really appreciate your kind words .
Truth be known , we all get a little lucky from time to time , and that project was one of those ,
where things just came together in a way that kept the integrity of the old barn ,
as well as giving it new life .
I blame Fflow for the twisted conversion , the man is brilliantly bonkers .

Have a great weekend , nsb :rose:

Inspiration comes when we least expect it , you'll find your time , and create something that will blow your mind . I've seen , read , and have been taken aback by dozens of your submissions here , this is a marathon , brother , not a race ... let it happen .

Hey , how did that homemade gogo juice ever turn out , I noticed my free samples never arrived here , duuuuuude!!!

Good to hear the music thing is still going well . If you get a sec , link more of your tunes , they're always a great escape , especially while working on rendering projects , it's a mojo thing . ( now there's a title you can use , just send me mt royalty checks ! )

Peace , to you and momma Fflow as well , enjoy your weekend and think " refinery " . That sounds like an amazing idea you have .

what a great transformation!

Very talented!!!!

Thank you , Honey123 , that's very sweet of you .

Speaking of talent , I happened across a pic of yours a few days ago that is possibly one of my favorite shots ever posted on Lit .
You have an exceptional eye for what is soft and sensual eroticism .
Plus , you're simply a sweetheart .

Have a wonderful wild weekend ! :rose:

Yes , quite sure it is ...

THIS is the pic that I was referring to .
I needed my asthma inhaler for a few minutes after seeing it .
That is a classy , sensuous cover shot if ever there was one .
Very nicely done !

OH! thank you! I like that one as well. I saw a photo and the curtain made it look like the model had tattoos.. so, I tried it, but it didn't come out the same way, obviously, but I liked how my hair looked! LOL... what I did was enhance the color a bit so that the sun outside the window looked brighter..

Yes! I do need to head over to the refinery but, today, my wife has the day off and we're going out! YAY!

I've made several (perhaps 5 ) batches of beer, and they've all been great. Some more popular than others, though. The last was a heavily hopped Belgian trippel, with an ABV of about 11%. That'll cure what ails ya! The current batch, still in the fermenter, was a bit of a wild recipe, with lots of improvisation. Early indications are positive. BTW, I name my beers. The last one was Brass Hammer. This one is Tall Dark & Handsome.

I'll PM you a link to new tunes soon.

Peace!

Hi All! Just popping in to share what I consider to be a really fun music app.

It is, I believe, called a 'Step Sequencer.' Notes in a specific scale are specified on the vertical axis, and time on the horizontal.

Here's a sequence I created:

If you click on this image, it will take you to a blank matrix. You can click on any of the squares to create your own sequence, or try to recreate this one.

Be warned, though. It is addictive!

Been terribly busy all month, Fflow . . . too few windows to indulge the "lit itch" , I fear. But occasionally check in and always look to discover some new Fflow wizardry. :) Now I can't get the sound of raindrops falling into a bucket out of my head!

Hope all is well with you.

I hope your busy-ness is associated with productivity, or pleasure.

Here's another, similar, but more complex matrix synth.

There are 8 synth 'voices,' located on the right side. You can delete the patters I've entered and program your own in.

Enjoy!

a L O N G overdue hi....

Sorry to everyone for my absence. :caning: We are dealt the hand that we get and mine has been a fold every time! Been extremely busy with work and life and all things in-between. On top of all that, computer issues!

Glad to see all the regulars continuing in my absence. :nana: For that I thank each and every one of you!. I will attempt to catch up on things and then see if anyone would like to kick the weekly competition off again, only this time make it run a little long to give those that don't have a chance to visit too often a chance.

I wish everyone a great Easter and I will buzz back once I can catch up on everything! Thanks again for keeping the forum alive and kicking!

Glad to see you back. I've been slacking, creatively. I need to get back on the horse. Perhaps tomorrow morning I'll get out of the house early and try to take some pix.

Happy easter!

There's a free, Open Source program, with many of the basic features of photoshop, called GIMP.

I don't think I posted this before but, if I did, forgive me:

The simple sound of ground water flowing down the inner walls of hallowed halls belies the wedded shrouds of temple acolytes whose bare feet walk the cool stone floors in adoration of forgotten gods.

The whispers echo softly through the evening air as songbirds sleep in slender saplings, leaves for beds and feathers weathered by years of migratory allure.

Surely scented candles burn, the shadows dancing as the wax drips into rivulets of consumption.

Still, the quiet burns in silence, still the darkness consumes the day, still the night comes, like a lover, to my bedroom, wanting more.

Her skin is cool beneath Egyptian cotton, her pulse slow, breathing even.

Her rose lips smile as she dreams, revealing some secret pleasure, some hidden passion, some cherished past.

The night, like all things, must pass and, softly, the deep blue sky begins to glow, a hint of the sun's warming rays begin to show, and just before the dawn breaks, the song birds sing, and the sleeper wakes.

Beautiful, really beautiful, Fflow.
