Well, unless it's your eyebrow and glasses, Fflow, you've got me stumped and as far as recreating it goes, you've got me stumped there too.
I've tried dozens of filters and brushes and nothing has the textured look that looks anything like yours... I guess that's why they call you 'the best'!

I did have a lot of fun experimenting with all the different effects while I was trying to recreate your look though and spent far too much time playing...
Oh well! Who needs clean laundry or food in the fridge when you've got gimp to play with, right? :D

First, I must commend you on your beautiful image. I love it. Not only is the subject lovely, but your processing is clearly an enhancement, something I often fail to achieve.

As for my image, here's the unprocessed original.

The texture was created with the 'age' filter. :p

Please don't neglect your real life, otherwise we might lose your long-term participation here, and that would be a dreadful shame!

PS: Your kinky hair is really sexy!

They are easy and fun, specially easy, my kind of programs ;)
Al and all the posters here, be creative I m of to the slopes in Austria, back on March 10.
:kiss::kiss::kiss:

But leaving these.......
I just saw these, Emmy. I love your pose -- and showing off all those delicious curves -- from the arch of your foot, to the sexy curve of your thigh. It has a "fine art" feel to it, while remaining very sensuous. :)

Here's a digital photograph that I was lucky enough to have in a jurored group art show some years ago. It has always been one of my favorite images:

Please let me know what you think!
Interesting photo, Fflow. I know now that it's a eucalyptus tree, but I initially thought it was some sort of an enhanced medical imaging photo showing two bones joined at a joint, such as in an elbow or knee, with the darker strip being a metal wire reinforcing the joint. (I must be watching too many medical programs lately) :)

Well, I can tell that you're in the spirit of the holiday!

That's a lovely photo! Very... green! ;)

Thank you, Fflow... heheh yes, it was pretty darn green...

Thank you so much, Fflow. That means a lot coming from you... although I doubt very much that you fail very often...

Wow! I would never have guessed that's what it was! Really cool effect. Not sure I want to use that on a pic of my eye though... Nature is taking care of that 'age' effect all by itself, thank you very much! LOL

That's very sweet of you, Ff but there's no need to worry 'bout me. I can multitask with the best of 'em. :D This image manipulation stuff sure can suck you in though...

p.s. glad you like my hair....

p.p.s it isn't the only thing...

Nice angle, Nawty! I like the texture you chose for the photo manipulation. And your curly hair really adds to your attractiveness (not to mention that inviting cleavage, of course!) :)

Thank you, ouch. glad you like my... angle. :D

Isn't life grand? :D

You're not the only one who 'saw' that. When I first installed the piece at the gallery show where it first appeared, the owners of the building asked me to take it down because they thought it was 'medical.' When I explained that it was a tree, they were more accommodating. The show, btw, was titled "Acceptance."

Thank you, Fflow... heheh yes, it was pretty darn green...

And me, green with envy! :D

Sure I do. I don't always have a clear idea of what I want, and just 'play.' Sometimes those explorations become dead ends, and I have to start over. I don't mind. It is just part of the process.

That's what I meant by the 'age' filter. I'm nearly 48 years old, so my once youthful skin is showing signs of wear. Still, I'd love to see an extreme closeup of your eyelash/eye. I love macro photography, where it is a challenge to identify what bit one is looking at.

p.s. glad you like my hair....

It is really adorable!

p.p.s it isn't the only thing...

Oh, please do tell me what your other kinks are, Nawty! (aside from exhibitionism! :D )

FLOW one word WOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
You so do amazing things with already amazing sexual sexy pics, in one word you always deliver amazing creative, sexy images, THANK YOU.
:kiss::kiss::kiss:

I know which image I would like....

ME WITH MY HANDS TOUCHING HER!!!!

She is an amazingly beautiful woman

And me, green with envy! :D
would this one make you feel blue? :D

I'm usually the opposite and have a very clear idea of what I want, then when I can't achieve it, end up trash-canning the lot...

I dunno. Your skin looks pretty good from here and that hand still looks strong and virile to me... :) If I have some time tomorrow, I'll pull out the macro lens and see if I can't get my (limping old) camera to co-operate a little for you...

:D

It is really adorable!
awww shucks...

Actually, this makes me feel happy in my pants

Well, both strategies have their strengths and weaknesses. I figure if I have no expectations or specific intentions, whatever happens, its all good. This philosophy extends to other creative efforts and, for the most part, it works pretty well. Working intuitively is quite liberating!

You're making me blush!!! :p I try to put my hands to good use whenever I can. (I'm a talented amateur masseur.)

Oh, that's not too bad! It reminds me of my 5th birthday: I told my parents that I wanted a watch, so they let me!

Anyway, I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

hahahaha you know, this was made all the more funny to me when I read through it in "reply" mode because it read "LemonChiffon in my pants" and I thought.... Huh? What the heck is he... Ooooh! That must be one of his kinks....:eek::D

I imagine it is. I envy your ability to do that... Unfortunately, I am one of those perfectionist types (when it comes to myself) and a very long time ago, set standards so high that it is literally impossible for me to ever achieve them so, in the past, to avoid producing results that were less than perfect and making myself totally miserable about the whole process, I simply didn't do things. I'm happy to say that I am slowly breaking free of this wretched curse and a big part of that is due to the encouragement and support of some wonderful people I've met here at Lit to whom I will be eternally grateful... Why do I all of a sudden feel the urge to stand up and say "Hi! My name is Nawty and I'm a Perfectaholic!"?:rolleyes::D

You're making me blush!!! :p I try to put my hands to good use whenever I can. (I'm a talented amateur masseur.)
oh my.... need volunteers to keep yourself in practice? *raising hand and waving madly*

That would be fantastic!
I wouldn't go countin' your chooks yet, Fflow... The ole camera ain't what she use to be... :(

I have another one I was playing with the other day. I'm not really a fan, which is why I didn't post it, but... *shrugs* it was fun makin' it and in the interest of breaking the curse... *gritting my teeth* Let me know what ya think?

Fflow... you probably underestimate your value here... I mean the number of foot photographs have geometrically jumped since you been here

Perhaps you're the one who should start that thread in the Darkroom Lounge...

Mmmm! Lemon Chiffon! Mmmm. In my pants! Mmmm... Well, actually, it might taste better in yours! While I'm certainly open to food sex, it isn't really one of my kinks. Still...

Well, the first step is admitting you have a problem. Here's an example from my life: I used to be a singer/songwriter/bassist, and played in a bunch of local bands back in the day. When I met the woman who was later to become my wife, I decided that I didn't really want to do the band thing.

Now, I perform several times a year with a friend of mine. We never rehearse, and we rarely discuss in advance what we're going to do. We just show up, and try to be completely 'in the moment.' To make things even more interesting, for about half of our performances we invite other musicians to join us. We don't rehearse or discuss with them, either. The surprising thing is that, for the most part, our shows tend to work out really well.

While the rigor of perfectionism can produce greatness, the rigor of intuitive creation can be just as powerful. When you are able to abandon expectation and judgment, and trust that all is as it should be, perfection emerges effortlessly.

oh my.... need volunteers to keep yourself in practice? *raising hand and waving madly*

OMG, Nawty! I'd love to get my hands on your sexy body. I think we'd both enjoy my giving you a massage. I bet you like the 'deep tissue' kind, right? :D

My first thought was 'Pop Art!' Then I saw the file name, and laughed!

I love it! I wish I could see a high res version, because it looks too 'wee' on my screen, so I find myself with my face pressed against it, which makes it all sticky and whatnot. (That's not good.)

Anyway, it is clear that you're a very colorful character, and I LOVE your creative impulses!

PS: I'm still kinda hung up on your hair.

Ha! I'm Literotica's Johnny Appleseed of Feet!

As I said, I thin there are many people who have lots to contribute to a photo technique thread. I'm not sure I'm the one to moderate it, though.

BTW, how was your birthday trip?

Trying to picture the tin pot on your head...

I think your right just trying to figure how we can start it... well I'll continue to ponder

The birthday trip was great... only wish I had a chance to get into the desert with my camera.

Revival?

Sad to see this thread slow down. Wonder where our inspirational leader has gone. Let's keep it going, folks. Enjoy.

Fflow , For Old Times Sake ...

This was a fun little collaboration effort between Fflow and myself . His wonderful photography ,
and me not being able to leave well enough alone , I had to throw a few things into the pic .

Here are both the original and the rendered version .

very cool, gentlemen.

Chainzz!!! Wassup, buddy!

Thanks for resurrecting this old chestnut! You took a rather mundane snapshot and transformed it into a masterpiece of digital art.

*bows*

You, sir, are the master!

Hey Hey ,What's shakin SRW ?? Always nice to hear from you .

That's quite a compliment , coming from a man of your talents , knowledge ,
and overall brilliance . I'm still humbled by your amazing photography , and your artwork ,
but I must say that calling that last rendering a masterpiece is pretty damn cool in my book ,
thank you , sir .

As far as calling me " the master " , ya know it's funny , I keep telling my girlfriend the same thing ,
that I am her Master , but she just rolls her eyes at me and tells me to fuck off ,
but I do believe that she's actually buying into parts of it now ,
she even made me a sammich last week ,
so I have that going for me now !!

If you happen to run across more of your camera work , of old barns ,
or anything else out of the norm for this place ,etc... ,
shoot them over my way , I'd love to see much more collaborations between Litsters in general .
With the talent shown in this thread alone , it could be big time fun .

Thanks again brother man , and hello to the Mrs. , as well .
