I will try to say this slower. This is in the old testement. Yes I believe that at the time this is what was done. However, Jesus was brought into the world to take the Punishment for all sin. It does not apply now. Yes I believe that it was done at the time.

All of it happened and I do take it literally. It is like the Salem Witch Trials. Do you believe that people who were thought to be witches were burnt at the stake. That was history. Go to Salem today - not happening.

I respect your right to tell me that but I am not following why I am not allowed to believe in Jesus. I don't know what gives you the right to tell me that I don't know the faith I strongly believe in. Just as I have no right to tell you that you don't know anything about your faith or lack of it.

I appreciate that and your earlier comments. I should look into it. I would like to learn more about all faiths. I have taken some small class like study's into them but I have not read the books that they use. Thanks:heart:

He was referring to Abraham. The father of the "one god" religions. Or, "monotheism".
 
I vote that "all men are created equal" should be stricken down as this thread shows nobody believes it.
