Craigslist Want Ads = Instant Story Ideas

So for various reasons I am looking at the "rooms and shares" want ads on Craigslist.com, and I come across this little item. I've removed sentences which contain identification information, but otherwise this is a straight cut and paste:

My sweet sweet French roommate named our wireless internet connection Happy House. Egggggscellent. Ok, so. It's a pretty big 4 bedroom house. We've been living here since December. Many aspects of the house need work and that is happening slowly. We share utilities, and they have been expensive in the winter and pretty cheap in the spring. I guess I should also mention that I have a horror of a/c and my roommate is Mediterranean, so the best fit for us would be someone also resilient to heat.

We are older free-thinking but responsible student types. We'd love it if you are an artist of some kind (this is a broad category) looking to help create a soul-nourishing micro-community (keeping high-faluting language like that to a minimum, of course). Come by to see and discuss!

Want Ads

It certainly sounds like they want someone to share expenses and to swing a little bit with them but also won't get uptight when they bring another third around for some action. Or it could be that they want to establish some sort of micro hippie commune that lets them do what they want but you can't ever ask them to be quiet for a bit. As for erotica stories I certainly like the first set up better.
