Un-Finished Objects that is.
I have a whole box full of sewing ones, and a whole 25 gallon tote full of yarn type ones. Some I come back to every now and then, some I think are doomed to be unfinished forever.
Mostly why I end up with U.F.O.s is because I get totally obsessed with one type of project and I'll do the icky part (which ever part I don't like to do but is nessisary) first for a whole mess of them. Well after doing a few, I get bored.
Outside of the box, I have 25 todler chemise that lack grommets and ties, and 10 that are cut but need put together. But I am totally sick of doing them.
These won't stay unfinished for ever. I'm working on something for myself right now, and then I'll probably come back to the todler stuff before moving on to adult things.
Now my yarn projects are a different story. I really love yarn projects, probably more for the feel of the yarn than anything else, but I get bored very easily.
I've even had a few of these projects end up in garage sales where some one picks them up and is thrilled to take over where I left off.
So what do you do with your U.F.O.s? Why do the get set aside? Do you ever pass them off to some one else? Or maybe you like finishing other people's?
This aplies to any sort of project.
