This is the cover of yesterday's UK Sunday Times Style section.

They suggest that Cowgirl Fashion is in.

How much do you think the makers are asking for this dress?

Oops. Picture too large. Will try again.

Ogstra, is there supposed to be a pic attached?

Good trick there, chap. Made me and my dirty mind think that you meant something else. :D

AT least $1000 US.

There are OH so many things i could point out that's really wrong with that picture...

So, are you supposed to be Ol' King Harry in that pic? :D

Yes. I appear as Henry VIII every three years.

That is about as long as it takes to persuade me to wear tights/pantyhose on a hot day.

Do you do Santa, too?

Jesus fuck!! You couldn't PAY me to wear that monstrosity in public!
Well, you could but it would cost you a hell of a lot.

Yes, for nursery schools. With my own non-removable beard.

I don't do 'Ho! Ho! Ho!' when the children are around. It frightens them and I get wet trousers. My 'Ho! Ho! Ho!s' are reserved for the parents.

Og the versatile...

Let's start with the horse.
Sullen look, sunken eyes, fairly lustreless coat (from what i can tell) - the only reason the horse is there and putting up with it is because it's either sick or getting too old to give a flying leap anymore.

The fact that it's standing next to what is obviously supposed to be a rodeo chute i'm guessing is supposed to be reassuring, but the poor nag would most likely be laughed out of any arena where competition had ever taken place.

I like it.

Obviously, it's not something I would wear down to walmart to grab a case of cokes, but it is to me very feminine and I like femme fashions.

Ok the top looks kind of cute but the 40 pounds of crinoline under the skirt has got to go.

Look on the bright side, chap. You're doing it in the English summer, not the African. There's a continent's difference to that for certain. But I can understand the hesitation. :D

You're fascinated with royalty, then?

Maybe he's a rodeo clown.

A clue

The pictures were taken at Gilbert Rodeo, Arizona, I presume that is a 'Dude Ranch'.

The dress is made by Dolce and Gabbana.

Now THAT would be something. I think I've seen some cloggers in our WalMart.

I like the dress but it looks impractical at best...lovely to be seen in, but not much use otherwise...

personally, my favorite thought about "cowgirl" fashion is cowboy boots, short denim skirt, halter top and cowboy hat...but I may have been overly influenced by beer ads ;)

No, Gilbert is a fairly well-known arena in that area of the US. It's used by the professional associations, for fairs, competitions, etc. Which explains why the chutes themselves look so decent.

Blue gingham? Where are the ruby slippers?

..there's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no...

I would never wear that...unless I was on stage in the play "Oklahoma" ~

I like her hair.
