It's preseason for fucks sake. Teams that look like shit usually do well in the regular season because they spent the preseason doing what they should be doing, knocking the rust off starters and trying out the newbies. Anyone playing to win or look good is asking for trouble. Ask the Lions about that. Undefeated in preseason, winless in regular.

I'm not defending the Cowboys because why would anybody, but these games mean less than nothing. A bunch of future bus drivers turned the ball over a lot--that's all it meant.

Every now and then you get a coach who seems determined to win a preseason game for some reason and the announcers always make it sound like it matters even though they know it's all bullshit.
It's so annoying I just stopped watching altogether.

Does the NFL still charge season ticket holders for preseason games? If so, Goodell and the owners need to be dragged through the streets and strung up by their intestines.

Yep. Season ticket holders must buy two preseason tickets. Apparently, it's part of an effort to increase the number of regular season games.

In lots of NFL towns season ticket holders are regular folks. Look at Green Bay. Most of those people aren't rich but they will kill a motherfucker to move just one place up the list for season tickets.

I was a cheerleader in high school. It was fun and we didn't have to shave our hoohoos.
Even went to some competitions but not much came of that.
Wasn't good enough for college squads.

I know I'll never be able to afford season tickets for the Giants. The Jets I think are cheaper, but of course Jet tickets are overpriced at any price.
