As the holiday approaches, I often take moments to reflect on the things in my life for which I am grateful. Sometimes this is easy and sometimes not so easy. I am human, after all. :)

But I do believe that life gets better if you adopt an attitude of gratitude!

So with that in mind, please join me each day in posting one thing for which you are truly Thankful.

I completely agree with adopting an attitude of gratitude. I try to remind myself daily that no matter what small stuff is going on, I have the great fortune to live in a country where I have the opportunity pursue whatever dreams I desire.

I am thankful for health of my family and friends. I am also thankful for finally having the courage to come into Lit and meet a lot of different people from everywhere in the world. At the first of the year I was spiraling down a self destructive course. I met some wonderful people , shared some very emotional yearnings, feeling, desires, and heartache. In helping myself I helped them and I think it helped us grow. So I'm thankful for that. I think last year I lost a part of myself. I think my friends help me find it.

So really as I sit in eat turkey, and walk it off shopping later ;):D. I'll be saying a thank you to all my friends around the world.

Quite simply, I'm grateful for family, friends, and loved ones and the opportunity I've had this year to be nearer to most of them.

I am very blessed to have the most understanding, kind, and loving parents in this world. I am very grateful for the all the love and opportunities they have provided me.:heart::heart:

I am thankful for a loving family that loves me and supports me unconditionally...

I am thankful for how far my little girl has come with all the challenges she deals with, my husband and I finally slowly healing from a lot of tragedies over the last decade and that we are a wee bit closer to goals we have set even with the economy as bad as it has been.

I am thankful for my Lit friends and acquaintances. I don't think I could have gotten through the last several years without a few of you around to lend support and kick me in the backside when I needed it.

:rose:

I am thankful for when I need a laugh, a smile, or someone to talk to there is always someone here to help so thanks to all my friends on Lit for making the internet so much more fun!

:kiss::kiss:

I'm honestly thankful for lit. As much as I sometimes loathe myself for continuing to come back, there is a therapeutic aspect to this site that goes without saying. There are truly genuine people here who would be an honor to sit down and share a drink with and just talk, no sex included. So, I'm also thankful for those who know me, and those whom I know.

I am thankful to all of the brave men and women over the centuries that have given of themselves, and the some that have given all, to create and maintain one of the greatest nations in the history of the world. 'We' are not perfect, but 'we' have the ability and the freedom to come to a place like Lit, express our beliefs, emotions, fears and sometimes our goofiness, because of them.

To the men and women who have served our country, who have served in support of other countries, and who continue to serve us now...thank you one and all.

I am thankful for my mum, my Lamb, adopted siblings, and mates. (especially u M)

Today I am thankful for my health which has greatly improved over the past 6 months. :D

I'm thankful for a family that loves me, even tho they are very dysfunctional.

I am thankful for two of the most beautiful daughters a mother can ask for.

I am thankful for the friends that grace my life with their presence.

I am thankful for a best friend that loves me no matter how ridiculious I am at times.

I am thankful for a job that allows me to work 2 days and then be off for 5.

I am thankful for the four-legged furry creature that keeps me company when I am lonely ...

I am thankful for the roof over my head, the clothes on my back, the food on my plate and my son (my one & only reason). That the home my parents are to retire in is still standing and can be repaired. I'm also thankful for the fact that my Father-in-law is still alive because he has the will of a prize fighter.

I am thankful for my family even though they drive me crazy much of the time.

I am very thankful for the new addition we were blessed with this year.. she is and will be the joy of my life.

I am thankful for Lit and the outlet it affords me... and for the the friends I have made here.

I am so very thankful for my Mule and his daily gifts to me of acceptance, joy, smiles and laughter.
