Could anyone make of story out of this?

Just returning fun as fun is found. I mean, we're not talking Airplane levels of humor, but still...
Yeah, I can be a bit literal-minded at times. Anyway, Aliens has some very dark humor.

  • Burke: Pff, it never... never occurred to me. It's just common practice. We always have a synthetic on board.
  • Bishop: I prefer the term "Artificial Person" myself.
I liked Bishop's comment so much that I used it in the one science fiction story I've done here.

Based on a true story. "Let's go to my place."

Of course this in Manhattan. First of all, seeing any movie 500 times is notable. What I'd like to know is if all her knowledge came only from the film. E.g., could she name the shipyard that built it and where it's located? Maybe it was mentioned somewhere in that three-hour running time.

The dog looks a bit skeptical.
She really needs that security deposit, but she's at risk of landlord keeping it based on the alterations she made to the unit, so, she offers to re-enact Rose's off-screen acts of love with him in order to get it.

By the way, I'm not sure if it's in this article.or one of the three others I found, but she's considering The Wizard of Oz for her next make-over. I wonder if she's going to be Dorothy or the Witch of the West? Margaret Hamilton had the best lines. "Want a little fire, scarecrow?"

I dunno, Rose's granddaughter was a hottie.
I don't even remember the granddaughter, but it's been a long time since I've seen the movie. I've had one character, a young woman, say, "I was skeptical from the moment Old Rose is wheeled out on deck with her goldfish bowl. I had hoped that a crewman would dump that damn fish into the ocean, although the North Atlantic is probably not a good habitat for such creatures."
