Does anyone know of an accurate way to compare the cost of living in different locations? I know the cost of living here is pretty damn low, but I might be moving soon.

Hon, the Dept of Census keeps records on the cost of living for most areas.

http://www.census.gov.

Good luck honey.

Since there are such a wide range of people here on the Board why not make use of them, first where might you be moving to then where are you going to live and then ask about the cost of food, fuel and transport.

Oh good, the cost of living in San Diego dwarfs the cost of living where I am now.

:(

Our crime rate blows San Diego's out of the water though, so I guess San Diego has something going for it. :p
