How does it make you feel when a cop that abuses the law system to better himself get's killed?

Not speaking of the great officer's that uphold the law,but the ones that take advantage of the law.

These poll result's should be interesting!
LOL
:D

It makes me sad for it makes me sad whoever gets killed because it will ultimately hurt someone: their family, their friends,...

this does, however, NOT mean that I'm pro the abuse of law. By any means, I think that cops should be an example and not abuse their status.

Halo :rose:

I never like hearing when someone is killed, even if in my or someone else's opinion, the person truly deserved killing.

It's rarely a good thing.

About Cops...I've found, through great experience, that the ones who truly abuse the system can and very often do get curbed hard. You just have to push the right buttons in and out of the department.

That's a very difficult question to answer. As a young, queer, pierced ex-homeless freak, I've had more than my fair share of shitty experiences with cops. In most cases I would do backflips whenever I hear that they are killed; if you take a position in such a corrupt field, then expect to make enemies and die (sort of like the army).

However, on a personal level I don't advocate the killing of people. So...

Do you have a specific case in mind? If so how 'bout posting a link to the info. It's too ambiguous to vote on as far as I'm concerned. It would depend a lot on what the cop in question was guilty of.

This is a disturbing thread in general, and espeically the above response to it.

Killer, what exactly were you doing when you brought a cop's attention upon yourself? I have never, even once, had a face-to-face with a cop, with the exception of a couple of speeding tickets.

A handful of corrupt cops does not take away from the extremly worthy, valuable and risky job these men and women undertake. They are public servants. Without them, there would be chaos.

It disturbs me too. I have had face to face contact with cops from several countries and with on Latin American exception have found them to be okay as long as you don't fuck them around.

Ruby I agree with your summation of a cops role. Sure there are bound to be corrupt cops in every police force, but they all should be treated with respect until they prove that they are unworthy of that respect.

just my opinion

I agree it's a disturbing thread too!
It might help to discuss this problem tho.
Good cop's die everyday because of the few that abuse the system.
Wonder how that makes an honest cop feel everytime he go's on duty.
There's good discussion in this if people want to talk about it.
I basicaly want to see the poll result's to understand where the good cop's stand because the action's of unlawful law!

BTW i didn't vote on this poll myself.

If a good cop makes a mistake, then he is presumed to be a bad cop. That's what i was gettin at.
LOL

Are you a cop yourself? There is good discussion in here but I think the poll and question are too ambiguous.

If a good cop makes a mistake that doesn't automatically make him Bad. It's not that black and white. Taking a free lunch from a grateful deli owner for instance is a hell of a lot different from taking a contract to whack the deli owners rival round the corner. There are degrees of error.

For those of you who don't know, I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be a wonderful Police Officer. I don't know why I clicked on this , I had a bad feeling about it but I guess I just wanted to see what everyone would say. When I looked at the results , my stomach actually tightened and I felt as if I was going to be ill. Now I sit here in tears. I just cannot fathom ANYONE thinking this is funny or being happy about anyone being killed , let alone an officer, that point just turns the knife deeper in my heart. Good Police Officers dislike "bad" cops as much as anyone else does but they don't want them dead.

I have so much in my heart that I want to say ...but I can't , it is too raw of a subject to open when there are people who think this is a joke ready to pounce on my words and I know myself too well....I would not be able stop the words from causing me pain.

I am going to go....my Love will be home soon. I only wish you all could meet him.....I promise you it would change your view of what an Officer is.

Adoratrice, I am sorry you even had to look at this distasteful thread. I didn't vote (only said my piece above), so I don't know what the results are, but I was highly upset by some of the comments made.

Evilbrat, I for one, don't know what the fuck you thought you'd accomplish with this. I don't even understand the god damn question! What do you mean derserve to get killed? In what manner? What did the "bad cop" in question do?

Are you talking about street justice or capital punishment? What is the fucking crime?

Try to be clear, before you hurt more good people.

Don't kick yourself, Freaky. I have a perfectly good flogger we can put to use. First in line is Evilbrat.

Nobody will be flogging EvilBrat unless it's me!!! That's my man and only I get to flog him :D

He didn't put this on here to "hurt" anybody either. It was just a general question. If ya'll are taking it personal you're reading way to much into it.

See he even said he was not speaking of the great officers that uphold the law. On the news lately there have been alot of officers that have broken the law and some are getting killed...don't know what's going on where you live...but things like that happen here and he was just addressing a question. Some ppl out there feel that all cops are bad...but as you know most of those ppl are frequently in trouble with the law and feel it's their right to take out their own kind of justice.

I'm really sorry any of this caused you pain. That was not the intent. He doesn't think it's funny or is happy cause police officers are killed. It was just a question.

He'll be here later to respond...

Brat

P.S.
After I'm done...maybe I'll let ya'll have a turn too :D LoL

Sweetbrat, when I see somebody's SO posting on their behalf, I make assumptions about that person's maturity level. Don't you think Evil is a big enough boy to take care of himself?

You are defending him, which is, um, sweet, but you didn't answer my questions about his badly worded, vague, inflammatory and hurtful thread. And, frankly, I don't want you to.

I'd like him to, though.

Well like I said he'll respond later. He's in bed now. Yeah I think he can take care of himself...I also know I love him and I have the right to defend him too. I'd do it for anybody I love. Wouldn't you???

As for making assumptions on somebody's maturity level maybe you should wait for them to respond...like I said he would be doing later...before doing such a thing.

Just because I came in here and posted to what ya'll said doesn't mean you have to be snippy with me. I told you he'd be here later. He'll make his comments then...I made mine now...because I'm awake and here already.

Same for me.......I think your sig line is quite approprate for this thread, freaky.

Snippy is my middle name, Sweet.

But aside from that horrible mistake on my birth certificate, I actually don't think I was being snippy at all.

Along with your right to defend your sleeping baby, is my right to judge you for doing so.

*kicks self yet again*

Elizabeth.. thank you.. my sig line seems to fit Lit alot lately. :D Some threads better than others.

Ruby.. I love you and your mouth... get snippy with me please. ;)
